Should place the price in the topic. :)

Hope they smell better than the set I bought from Argos some two months ago. The Argos set smell absolutely rotten. They have been outside in my garden since I bought them, buried under snow and ice for the last few weeks, and they still smell rotten.

When they make rubber they add sulphur which smells-you cannot get rid of it as it's part of the material-however you can mask it by spraying rubber with air freshener!

That shows they are natural rubber, not sythetic, the smell will die down after a while.

Banerama, are the mats you bought from Argos the same as the ones sabz is talking about?

Bought lots of stuff from my local Aldi and quality has always been good.

Yes they are indeed. Stinking rotten. How anyone could put these in their car is beyond me. The smell is unbearable. Read some of the reviews on Argos website (posted by people with a sense of smell).

What do you reckon would be a reasonable definition of a 'while'? My set are still lying out in my back garden. I bought them in early November!!!!

Decent price!
These mats are especially useful if your traction in snow or ice is proving difficult, stick the mats in front of the drive wheels to get you started or at least out of the hole you were in!

Open some windows in this weather! Are you barking mad? Reckon you should get your olfactory system checked out by your GP. You obviously have absolutely no sense of smell.
