I wasn't impressed with these. Far too much salt and too greasy for my liking. .. and yes I do know this is fast food

Heads down incoming missiles ...(i'd launch a few too)
if you buy this you are chickinfrickin mad, & surely a documentary with the likes of that nasty fake dr woman gillian mckeith could be made for shock tv viewing & perhaps thus you ought to re-assses your foodie lifestyle.
..but if you eat this crud, you're probably too young to care right now so enjoy whilst your body isnt able to rebel, maybe your gut's will be messed up in a few years to come ..like mine!

& for that there is no going back!

What makes me laugh on these types of threads are all the perfect human specimens who don't eat any junk food, nor do they drink alcohol, smoke ciggies or take drugs or do anything that is bad for their health,it's amazing how many folk there are like that on here.

I'm saying it as someone whose guts are ******ed through bad quality fast food which I stupidly purchased & was subsequently poisoned with years ago that has cost me my livelihood ever since, ..therefore in context over £500,000 & rising.

Theres no chance of pinning down a chain for renumeration afterwards if you get so badly poisoned by companies who will sell you any old S**TE , so at least think about what you eat & in what circumstances from time to time.

My life is curtailed as the body continuously ejects food since it was poisoned by bad quality muck masquerading as food!
I used to earn in excess of £60,000 pa.
Luckily we alter our food choices (mostly) as we grow up, ..if you get caught out the backlash could be way beyond a few days with a food-bug, & potentially the cheaper the foodstuff the less care taken with it, increasing the risk of something nasty.

What the hell happened to you? If it can be proved it was from dodgy food, I fail to see why you can't get compensation. Unless it was your overall lifestyle I suppose, not one place but lots contributed?

Even so I know lots of people who eat nowt but fast food, drink too much, smoke too much and do too many drugs yet are fine - I used to be one. But like anything in life, you know the risks so you take your chances.

I'm undecided as to whether I'd bay this, mainly because I'm not a fan of chicken on the bone so much. However this is a good price for what it is, so I've voted hot.

Its a chicken thread, what did you expect? My beef thread stayed rather tame, this one beats it hands down by the first page!

Bought this once and it is awful. It's as though they have taken all the bits of chicken that you would normally through away and coated them with salty breadcrumbs:shock::x

Wise words indeed. Take note anyone presently earning £60,000 pa (WTF?).

While you do have my sympathies, surely your situation was the result of over-doing the junk food. My kids have McDonalds every now and then and do eat frozen chicken similar to this too. I think a lot of eople do realise that surviving on a diet of stuff like this is a bad idea.

I think it is a sad symptom of a decline in HUKD when there are so many judgemental posts similar to the ones found here. For some reason, chicken seems to be the worst culprit for it :whistling:

Cheap food gets vitriolic hatred & chorus of doom from the do gooders.
Previous post...whiskey which is a poison gets a chorus of approval and a round of applause..or drinks!!!
Nowt so queer as folk??
#22
I normally stay out of the "fatties" thing that gets mentioned a lot on here, but I've had enough now.

Can't people realise that these foods can actually be eaten even within a controlled diet? Last year I lost a few stone (looking quite trim now) but used my own dieting method which allowed me to have whatever I wanted for dinner, whether it was something lean, or the all out biggest kebab I could find.

So crack on with the "go on fatties, buy two" ...but at least educate yourselves first.

In This World You Really Get What You Pay For, Its That Simple. This Stuff Is Plain Cheap N Nasty.
#24
What????
#25
I have wondered what this product line is like since it is always on for low prices at our Tescos (not as low as this deal admittedly). I have never bought any because it just seemed kind of cheap and nasty looking - turns out I was probably right. Too bad though 'cause I like fried chicken AS PART OF A BALANCED DIET THAT LETS ME EAT WHAT I LIKE IN MODERATION.

All of you you who spout the "fatties" and "poison" comments every time a fast food post comes up on this forum are just so predictable and BORING.

I've tried this box (oh no ..I'm going to hell)..and I quite liked it.

Of course it's very salty, greasy and unhealthy..but if you like KFC then this rip-off is a pretty decent replica for the home.

Some may hate this type of food..but at least this particular box is made up entirely of whole coated chicken pieces..there's none of the dubious "minced" nuggets and strips that you get in other boxes. So that's a major plus point IMO.

Sh$t Fried Chicken
#29
It's a box of chicken for Christ sake, buy it if you like it, don't if you don't! I don't personally like it but have still voted hot for the price & the heads up for people who do like it.
Some people on here need a hug from mummy I think!

OMG, YOU'RE GOING TO HELL!!!!!!111111!

Cheers for an honest review of someone who has actually tried it, as opposed to sheer hatred from people who haven't. Short of inserting a drawing of Mohammed I'm not sure I could wind people up more than over some cheap chicken.

My GFs son is 12 today, and having some friends over for some party food. I have most stuff, may grab some of these though. Kids usually like unhealthy stuff!

More to the point, if you were on 60k WTF were you doing eating like a skint scutter? You obviously chose to eat badly, rather than were forced to due to costs (which is something I don't actually believe in anyway). If you were loaded yet chose to fill your body with crap, you can't really expect any more sympathy than a scag head surely?

Presumably that's the amount 'Injury Lawyers For You' (100% real lawyers) are trying to extract from Colonel Sanders.

I was a once in a while "very occasional eater of the high street fast food, generally healthy not a smoker, regular vigorous excerciser, I was earning around the £60,000 mark per annum till ill from stopping by a big "mc-chain" when they were taking over roadside (motorway) locations, had smething to eat on a sunday morning after visiting friends, so for speed of travel 9we had some miles to cover) I had a chickenburger...
& it was downhill from there, bad guts & many hours of bog trotting to this day! ..in the worst periods up to 10 times per day (severe) thankfully less nowadays ..which leaves you well & truly knackered, times on steroids (which are not good) amongst other meds, increased stress at work, ..lost job which I was good at, so therefore earnings, potential earnings & promotions, career choices.
I have to think about nearly everything I eat & drink as it's affected the guts so extensively.

whats your condition called? and what did the doctor say was the cause?
#39
Must've been a mean chicken burger, I've eaten near-raw chicken without side effects. Even when I had food poisening (which sounds a lot like what you are saying, but lasted 2 weeks) I just passed water through my bowel for the whole time but did no real damage I can see. Did get a letter from environmental health though saying I couldn't work with food for 6 weeks, it took 5 weeks to arrive!
