Shadow Warrior Reborn- A bold new vision of the cult classic Shadow Warrior, reimagined with a blend of modern design, inventive combat mechanics, and a contemporary retelling of Lo Wang's comical rise to legend.

- Brutal Gunplay - Utilize every gun in your formidable arsenal - from flashy revolvers and quad barrel shotguns to explosive-tipped crossbow bolts and laser-guided rocket launchers - to stop the invasion right in its demonic tracks.

- Elegant Swordplay - Unsheathe your legendary katana to slice enemies apart with precisely targeted swings or unleash fluid combos and special attacks to cut down hordes of enemies with one swift blow.

- Powerful Magic- Call upon mystical powers to protect yourself or paralyze your enemies and then use their own severed heads and still beating hearts to pluck the life from your foes and bring them to their knees.

- Variable Upgrade System - Augment weapons, strengthen skills, and power-up magic through an upgrade system that rewards the violent dismantling of foes and cold hard cash found throughout the game.

- New Arena mode - sees Lo Wang facing off against waves of enemies in three custom-designed environments.

- All-New Campaign - content featuring the head of the nefarious Zilla corporation.

- All special edition weapons - including the sledgehammer from Serious Sam 3, katana from Hotline Miami and "Zilla Enterprises Z45 katana"

Shadow Warrior tells the offbeat tale of Zilla Enterprise's corporate shogun, Lo Wang, who is ordered by his employer to track down and acquire a legendary blade known as the Nobitsura Kage. Forced into a timeless battle, Lo Wang learns of the blade's connection to ancient gods from another realm, pushing our world to the brink of destruction. Aided by Hoji, a banished spirit from this mysterious world, Lo Wang must use a masterful combination of gun, blade, magic and wit to discover the truth behind the demonic invasion and banish the encroaching forces back into the darkness.

Idea! If people stop buying Amazons price matches and buy the products from the retailers who offer the low prices first maybe Amazon could come up with their own deals? Doubt it.

Head added. PS4 games certainly not holding their value these days.

Opinions on the game?

Yeah, that's a point actually.

Playing it at the moment. It's great fun! Simple 1st person hack and slash with a flimsy story, but it looks gorgeous, plays well and is pretty funny in parts. The katana is a joy to use, especially once you get a few special moves. Quite a few references and easter eggs to find.

Totally agree with you.... Amazon just price match everything and most the muppets go buy it from them because it 'Amazon'

Why people don't buy from the source of the price cut I don't know. ... soon some of the smaller game retailers will end up going belly up because no one buys from them anymore because people just buy from Amazon all the time. Then everyone will moan about Amazon then as there's nowhere to buy games apart from Amazon and games like this would just be priced RRP. ...

That's true but Asda is hardly a small retailer. The Supermarkets have being doing this for decades. As it stands I would say Amazon is the lesser of the 2 evils.

A lot of heat! No idea why this game isn't selling well. It's an absolute blast and the first modern shooter I've played in a while that doesn't suck.

I know asda are not a small retailer. .. but a lot of deals posted and matched are places like The Game Collection and Shopto. But saying that Asda would soon pull ouy of stocking games if there was no money in it.... so people buying from Amazon instead of Asda could cause at some point Asda binning selling games.

It wouldnt be the end of the world if they did, but it would be one less retailer selling games love em or hate em.

2033 was average, but Last Light is excellent. Obviously not for you ;-) Shadow Warrior is superb, one or two duff sections IMO & I prefer the original in many ways, but a really tight update, definitely worth a punt at this price.

theg - Well this muppet always waits for the Amazon price match because I can then run the game through flubit, I buy a ton of games thanks to hukd so saving £1 or £2 on every game is a great little saving.

Seems a reasonable game from what I've read & for £15 I'll give it a try, thanks!

Can see this being the kind of game that will end up coming to PS Plus as one of PS4s free games, and sooner rather than later too. But £15 is a good price and deal for the game :)

It's an old PC games which has been remastered. It is basically a PSN title, same price on the store. Probably wasn't much more than £15 to £20 on release.

It is a fun game if you like proper 90's style FPS games like Doom, Serious Sam, Duke Nukem etc then buy it. If not then stay clear.

Maybe because some retailers like Asda have inferior and unreliable service comparred to amazon ? poor packaging, late shipping and lack good customer service?Of course it's not everyone's experience but the last item I bought from Asda Direct a bluray disc came with cracked case damaged in post or more likely during packaging,,their customer service were rude and refused to replace it.
Few months back I bought a swivel chair from them, also arrived with a fault..their rude and amateur customer service were expecting me to personally bring the heavy chair to a collect plus store or asda store to refund it.

On the other hand every single item Bought from amazon comes perfectly packaged, and customer service is super friendly and good.you will always be able to return even non faulty items let alone faulty ones free of charge.

So maybe you can open your eyes instead of defending companies that lack good customer service.I couldn't care less about such retailers go bust.

Fair enough... if you want to end up playing more in the long run thats fine with me. I was not defending asda btw.. just saying if everyone goes to amazon then there wont be any more retailers left in the end.

Also if your not on prime i find it takes ages for items to be sent........ but each to their own

But Amazon have dominated online retail for over a decade and they're still highly price competitive. When do you predict their monopoly taking full effect and them hiking prices up? I certainly haven't seen it yet.

Also, prime is almost universal. Not only is it free for a month for everyone, but it's free for 3 months with Amazon family, 6 months with Amazon student and £39 a year thereafter for students. Highly accessible/affordable.

You may say we're playing into their slimy, devious corporate hands. And perhaps we are, to our long-term detriment. But I've been doing precisely that for many years and prices/service have only gotten better if anything. If/when that changes, I'm sure I and many others will switch allegiance. Consumers are fickle.

I'm cancelling my Prime when it comes up for renewal, £79 isn't worth it for me anymore, the video service is naff and I get little benefit from the delivery.

I just checked and in 2013 I had 178 orders from Amazon, with some including multiple items, last year I had 85 orders and so far this year none, my problem is everything I used to buy on Amazon was from marketplace sellers so I still had to pay the £2.80 delivery charge, Prime doesn't even discount a single penny from orders not placed with Amazon themselves.

All I use Amazon for now is URL grabbing to get a better price from flubit, £79 saved from not renewing Prime will get me a few games :)

cancel, then wait a few months they'll offer you another prime, then wait for them to deliver late, complain and they'll give you another months prime on top
