Description

Shadow Warrior tells the offbeat tale of Zilla Enterprise’s corporate shogun Lo Wang as he is ordered to acquire a legendary blade of limitless power by his deceitful employer. Betrayed and left for dead, Lo Wang learns of the blade’s connection to ancient gods from another realm preparing to push our world to the brink of destruction. Now the reluctant hero must become legend through a masterful combination of gun, blade, magic and wit to uncover the truth behind the demonic invasion and banish evil back into the darkness. Shadow Warrior Reborn – A bold new vision of Shadow Warrior elegantly blends classic first-person shooter gameplay with thrilling action, inventive combat, and a contemporary retelling of the hilarious legend of Lo Wang. Elegant Swordplay – Unsheathe your legendary katana to slice enemies apart with precisely targeted swings or unleash fluid combos and special attacks to cut down hordes of enemies with one swift pass through the enraged hordes. Upgradeable Arsenal – Utilize every gun in your formidable armory – from stylish revolvers and quad barrel shotguns to explosive-tipped crossbow bolts and laser-guided rocket launchers. Each weapon offers several unique upgrades to increase power, speed, and add devastating alternative firing options. Mystical Powers – Call upon mystical powers to protect yourself and paralyze your enemies or use their own severed heads and still-beating hearts to bring them to their knees. The downloadable version of this game supports English, French, Italian, German, Spanish

Loved this game. Great humour. I wish I could buy it for the first time again, for 4 quid! Have some heat!

Back in the 90's the original always taunted me for picking easy the easy setting "You are tiny grasshopper" X)

Seems to be a 3dRealms tradition.

Was tempted but have loads of stuff still to play and low hard drive space. I only have 500gb, and don't have all of the games I own installed. If the manufacturers (MS and Sony) didn't profiteer so much on the hard disk space, I'd probably spend more on games.

What Sinxa said, you can't really have a go at Microsoft when they allow the use of cheap external storage.

I find it hard to believe that this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Xbox-One-Gears-War-Bundle/dp/B01M2VFST8/ref=sr_1_2?rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1492446533&sr=8-2&keywords=xbox+one+s+tb
is usually around £50 more exppensive than this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Quantum-Break-Bundle-500GB-White/dp/B01BLDLM24/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1492446387&sr=1-1&keywords=Xbox+One+Quantum+Break+Bundle+500GB+Quantum+Break
...and they don't make a profit on it. When one of these:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Hitachi-HGST-500gb-Drive-Laptop/dp/B003ZFLOD4/ref=sr_1_44?s=computers&rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1492446872&sr=1-44&keywords=laptop+hard+drive
...costs about 15 or 20 quid less than one of these:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Internal-Hard-Drives/Western-Digital-Blue-WD10EZEX-Cache-3-5-Inch-Internal/B00FS796O6/ref=sr_1_49?s=computers&rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1492446786&sr=1-49&keywords=laptop+hard+drive

It appears to me that they are making money on the hard drives, and you cannot fault them for being business like, my point was;
I'm a tight wad so bought a smaller HD size as it was cheaper, but 500mb is measly. If they took it on the chin and gave 1tb as standard and 2tb as the better model, I would be buying more games right now.

You shouldn't have to invest in a hard drive as it adss hidden costs to your consoles original price. I will not upgrade on principal.

That logic is flawed. Increasing hard drive capacities for 2.5" drives like the one in the One adds significant costs. But at least they are linear. So you're saying you'd rather them release a 2tb model with an expensive 2tb 2.5" hard drive at a much higher cost, than just spend £50 more on an external one you have total freedom with on a bargain basement 500gb model? There's a reason people complain profusely about Sonys method of dealing with space.

Edit: Cheapest 2.5" 2tb drive I can see is around 90 quid. You can get a 4tb external 3.5" for that... and I know what I'd rather.

What I'm saying is consoles should have large hard drives as standard. Buying another hard drive isn't happening for me on principal alone as its too much money and effort for money is better spent on games.

But the additional cost to the console is greater than buying it separately....

The thing is the console doesn't need a bigger hard drive. The vast majority of the population are fine with 500gb and a lot of issues are to do with poorly compressed games. At launch almost every game filled a bluray... thesse days its nearer about half their capacity. But us lot that buy cheap games it doesn't work. The simple solution is to just keep a couple games you play regularly installed then install others as you play them.
