Democracy is actually a pretty funny game. Some of the stuff you can do is ridiculous... how the hell did I get reelected with my country like £500billion in debt!?!?

Edit: Shadowrun Returns is also a decent game.. especially if you like good storytelling... it's well scripted although the turn based combat is kinda basic.

I thought the nightmare was over...The steam sale ended, I survived with some money left. The GOG sale ended, still had a little cash left over...And now this...THIS! Think of the wallets!

£500b is small potatoes: the USA's is nearly $17.6 trillion - http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock/

Even the UK's national debt was £1.4 trillion as of the beginning of last year.

What I meant to say was my spending per year was £500billion more than what I was bringing in. So yea losing £500billion/year and I got reelected 2 times over 15 years which is crazy since my credit rating was the lowest it could go. Was playing as the UK too which has a tiny economy on that game in comparison to the USA. I'm an idiot at politics & economical stuff anyway, I'll leave the seriousness to those that know about it!

Ah, £500b in *deficit*, not debt.

And plenty of actual journalists and politicians get the two confused, so it's no wonder the general public do, too.

For the same reasons that Obama did probably.
