Bagless lift-away vacuum cleaner, with very impressive reviews.

I had a look at it at Costco, the build quality is great.

Not the biggest of dust containers though.

Costco will discount it from Monday to £143.98.

The next cheapest option I was ablew to find was Amazon, £195.

Features:

- Powered motorised brush roll even in Lift-Away mode

- Shark Lift-Away technology, lightweight detachable pod

- Anti-allergen complete seal technology:captures and holds over 99.9 percent of dust and allergens inside the vacuum

- No loss of suction

- Advanced swivel steering allowing you to manoeuvre in, around and under furniture in your home with ease and control

Got the NV500 a few months ago and it's quality, the most impressive vacuum I've ever used to be honest. The only thing I'd say is they are a hefty weight, and the cord storage is pretty rudimentary.

I have this vacuum, and I can't speak highly enough of it - many of my friends have expressed interest (just because of the headlights!). It is also VERY powerful. The dust collector isn't huge, but it does compress the dust (somewhat), and has more than enough to do 3-4 rooms.

I bought this in April for £150 from argos because of the great reviews and price.
Within a week I regretted it. It was so heavy as a hoover I had trouble doing the stairs, the laminates did not come up super clean, using the lift away and laminate pole part, the cord looked a mess and just didn't use it as it was so cumbersome and an effort to get out and put away. So after very little usage was surprised when the front swivel head broke off. I took it back for a full refund and bought the Dyson V6 for £189 last week. The Dyson by far superior to this. Easy to store, charge and use. Suction is less but as I use it more often house is much cleaner.

Got it today. Extremely well made product, with all the extra tools you will need. Quieter than expected, generates less noise than my old Bissell cylinder bagless vacuum. Quick test on a previously vacuumed carpet has confirmed that I've made the right choice. So far so good!

What store just phoned Edinburgh and is 179 perhaps store specific?
