Sorry when I saw £352.49 price, being MAKRO I assumed it was not inc vat!

Whats the actual size specs on this? The ones on the web look dodgy. (Depth larger than w or h on an led!?)
#6
think its the same one that Asda are doing for £297 - but i'm not very technical and it might not be the same model - http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/645134/sharp-aquos-32-advanced-super-view-

No worries.

It seems a good deal to me, the 40" LED Sharp got very hot a couple of months ago for £599 (inc VAT i assume) So even this is a good buy at £588 all in... Just need a Macro card.

Can you still get day passes? Anyone know? used to be able to for £1.

That's an LCD not LED and is HD Ready not Full HD. On a 32" you may or may not be able to tell the difference in the HDness - but LED is the way forward they say.

On a 40" plus you would though... apparently. Depends on how good you prescription is on your glasses! My CRT non-HD looks pretty good when i take mine off....

Product spec shamelessly :whistling:ripped off the 40" post from a couple of months ago (http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/597153/sharp-aquos-lc40le600e-40-full-hd-l)- Not too sure of the difference in Spec, might be just the size of screen.

Knowing Makro, they will not necessarily have the stock to last the first day!

The other link you gave isn't new:

Well not a great loss if there are none left lol. Still at the rate LED's are dropping they will be LCD prices by the end of the year, maybe its best to just wait.

Didn't realise it wasn't new, comes with 12 months warranty though. Saw it a few places for £400 however.

Pretty sure LED will replace LCD pretty soon, the prices will go that low just a waiting game i guess

I keep counting on it... bedroom TV want a 32", the spec not so crucial to replace a 12yo TV (gets used a lot, but mainly in a darkened room so specs are less crucial), and hoping by the time my Panasonic 28" CRT claps out, an LED 37" will be at the right price complete witha good warranty included - odds on they will clap out at the wrong time, and I end up with paying more than the optimum price, and end up with old models! Of course if something breath taking comes along.... but hey, that's not all that often that happens!
#19
If looking for a cheap basic LCD tv any size it has to be RICHER SOUNDS. There top spec range is also very competitive. Warranty price cannot be beaten excluding M and S, and John Lewis but these are reflected in actual selling price.:)
