OK yes you can even spend a few hundred pound more to get 4K resolution, larger size, smart functions, 3D...blablabla
By all means post that Samsung one you mentioned if you think it's a deal. Otherwise this post is about a budget TV which is a good deal for the price.

My mother in law has this TV. It has a decent picture, but the sound on these Sharp's are terrible. Expect to have to buy speakers/a soundbar or put up with very tinny sound.

go for the Samsung, the software is abominable on this set- so laggy, will drive you nuts

Chrome and FF w/o Ublock all ok - my fault :)

Picked up c and c. Got it home and threads for base have fallen inside the tv, what a disaster. Off to Tesco I go for refund
