Seems like a good deal for a 46 inch tv. It's got a very slim bezel and claims to have 100Hz motion processing.

Seems to be only available to in-store customers.

Really good price for a named 46 inch tv, esp when you consider an ISIS 50 inch tv got ALOT of heat when it was £349 at tesco.

I personally would sacrifice those 4 inches for a well known brand, and to not have to buy it from tesco.

Reading the specs, it's virtually featureless :|

I never said it was a smart tv. You're never going to get a similar sized smart tv with a 5 year warranty for this money.

Nice find shame I don't have the funds, does anyone know if they do some sort of pay monthly ?

Sharp LC series are basic models made by subcontractor, maybe the same who makes the said ISIS sets.
There are two main generic tv makers: UMC in Slovakia and Vestel in Turkey, selling under brands: Polaroid, Hitachi, Isis, Celcus, Blaupunkt, Digihome, and lowest series of Sharp and Toshiba.
Heat added.

cheap op but you will defo need the 5 warranty as this will break in 15 months the screens don't last for some reason.i paid 500 for my sharp back 18 months ago and in that time i have 2 as i got it replaced by sharp but took them 3 months.sharp do not help when it comes to anything being wrong and there customer service ref is only one person.the replacement tv is scratched to s**t and not worth getting them to do anything.always bring it back to the shop you buy it from and they always ask for a copy of the receipt.

personally i would never buy a sharp again pricture is rubbish and sound is dreadful as so low.

Sorry to be pedantic but LC is not the series, pretty much every LCD they have made starts LC, followed by size then series, then model. People could get confused as some of the Sharp screens are decent.

I thought the budget Sharp's were rebadged Vestel just like the budget Toshiba's but this one doesn't look like the typical Vestel's on the rear socketry

I'm not up to date then, Sharp used to name the bottom line LC and higher ones LE, but yes not anymore.

Not interested in smart or 3d or anything. Just decent playback of blu rays and some TV. This seems great price for size. Would it be ok?

One thing not yet mentioned is that this set had a DVB T-2 tuner which means you can record one channel whilst watching another. You won't find many sets at this price which have that functionality.

DVB-T2 means it receives HD Freeview, not that it has dual tuners. According to the specs sheet this TV can play multimedia via USB but there is no mention of recording at all.

My bad. Thanks for the correction.

Guys. Thinking of dropping my money on this as it seems like very good value. No reviews that I can find. Any advice please?

Bought the 42 inch version mentioned on this site and am very pleased - the menus are the same as on my new Panasonic 39 inch so looks as though possibly built in the same factory with the same software and components as the Panasonic

Had mine for a day now and pretty happy with it. The programme guide is pretty basic but pretty happy with the screen itself and the sound is ok. Cheapest branded 46 inch you'l find!
