"Enter your employer's Affinity Access Code "rewardgateway08" when asked"

That sounds dubious!
#2
Yeah, is it a code that is available to anyone - say for being part of a club or mailing list.

What is the model of TV this applies to?

Could be a mega deal....

Nice find!! I think this is the link to the specifications - model LC52X20E....

Cheapest elsewhere seems to be about £1400.00

I did this on a xl20 46" worst TV ever. sending it back due to banding H and V. picture judder, bad backlight bleed, when on eco mode TV turns off when watching AV. buying a panny instead.
#5
Does the code only apply for this TV?

So you got a bad one. My 46 x20e is perfectly fine :D Hardly the worst tv ever, its truly stunning.

Hot, only 300quid more than I just payed for a 46.

yeah I have the 42" one from sharp direct, great service and amazing TV! If you can get the 52" for £999 - thats a bargain!!!
#8
Includes a 5 year warranty!

And there's 5% quidco if you're feeling really brave?

Hope you all get these.
#9
nope not just me, if you search google there is a batch of panels that have banding issues. It does say if there is no banding you have a great TV otherwise return it, seems its a lottery.

When you switch channels say from the last digi channel which i think is 803 over to BBC1 does the image judder assuming the actual image will be moving. it does it on nearly all channels but BBC1 seems to be the worst.
Also when watching say HD in letterbox check the black on the lower half of the screen from left to right can you see heavy banding. i.e. light/dark/light etc approx 4" apart.
other issues aswell but take too long to go into

code doesnt work on other tvs :-)

I bought one of these in january for £1400, came with a free sharp blu ray dvd player worth £400 at the time .Nearest price at time was £1800 just for tv.
Great lcd tv. no problems so far, fingers crossed. slimline, lightweight except for stand.

£999 plus 5yr warranty is boiling hot deal.
#12
it says access code invalid when trying to use the code when registering, so expired now?
#13
where does it say "Includes a 5 year warranty"
#14
Yep says access code invalid for me also...
#15
Why voted hot??? Has anyone been successful in purchasing this? I have tried too and get the message invalid access code.

Good job it's not working, you could get in a whole lot of bother over this.

Nice telly though!
