As above, might be of some use to some of you. Says down from £200 odd on the ticket. I'll post the pic shortly

Fairly good reviews around the net too.

edit: Says £120 online

One ugly player IMO

Okay'ish review
FYI the Sharp BD-HP21H is a profile 1.1 player, and does not have an ethernet port. (so will never see an update to profile 2.0)
Cheapest found through a google shopping search is, £84.95 + £7.95 delivery => £92.90
i have this not the best blue ray palyer in the world but thats a good price
I got this free from my gran. It's fine for those that are not bothered about the extra features that require online connections (most of us I suspect), but as noted, pretty basic spec. Plays back flawlessly though - so don't be put off by that.

Otherwise, some lucky people will have found this at Makro recently for about £50 if I recall.
Anyone know about the possibly of region hacking this ?
Actually - this same deal was posted 4 days ago

And exactly the same things were said back then too! though by completely different people.
lol, this was £49+vat about 1 month ago in makro...i bought one - not as good as my sony 350 but well worth it...note it is blu ray profile 1.1 and doesnt have a n/work port so firmware upgrade is via disk.....personally i think the online stuff on bdlive is waste of time, so you arent missing anything with it not being profile 2.0

also doesnt have scart for those that are bothered
for 95, i would rather pay extra for the sony 350
