Is the way its configured for the xbox 360 (in the guide above) a better way to view 720p on that tv? or are the seperate component inputs better?

Eventually got a refund from retailer 3 weeks later. Just my ramblings, wasnt a pleasant experience. This is a good price for a 32"

I quite like the Sharp LC32AD5E (newer model with Freeview). £415 at Pixmania

Sure, its not nice. But you will get money back.

Although, this could happen with all couriers.

I only pointed it out because I saw the citilink badge when I clicked the link. Brought back some memories :-D

Voted this hot btw. Although wondering if its better to spend £40 and get the newer model with freeview and extra HDMI?

use voucher code awin070702 at pixmania and then you only spend £29 more for newer model

I would spend £29 extra but I have a good freeview signal here

Stop posting so many TVS!! Thought I had my decision made with the Toshiba 32C3030 then loads of different attactive offers are posted. Stop it lol
#13
hang on £415.91 - £379 = 36.91 more

but you have to pay delivery at pixmania (min of £16.90)

36.91 + 16.90 = £53.81 extra

then less £11 voucher makes it £42.81 (is that what you did originally?)

Sorry I worked it out with £11 voucher in my head but didnt mention it :P

Was thinking of getting John Lewis to price match Pixmania and get it from them with their 5 year warranty!

Just as a warning, we have one of these out on display and after about 2 weeks the image started rolling on all HD (component and HDMi) inputs.

If you collect Tesco points then buying for Tesco Direct may be a better option. Price is currently £399 (remember the Saxo thread) but there is a £5 voucher you can use, I think you can also get 5% quidco and you get 1000 points (worth £40 in deals).

Watch AJ Electronics. I placed an order with them and their site said they had stock and as i'd never placed an order with them before I even rang to get a feel for them and to confirm they had stock (which they confirmed verbally). Almost a week after placing the order they e-mailed me saying that they didn't in fact have stock. It took a good few days again to get my money back.

I think their stock just gets allocated randomly in no order. Anyway, I wouldn't trust them again.

Guess they only employ dodgy characters at citilink!

I think sharp will look loads better than Hannspree rubbish.

Sharp Aquos screens are always rated very highly and when i've seen them on display they've always impressed me.
