Can't see a cold temp against my posting. Where are you looking?

It should be.

It's over-priced, like almost every other item QVC has ever sold!
Clearly others think it worth 65 quid more for the privilege of buying it there, proving once again heat has little to do with common sense :-(

How long have you been a QVC customer? I thought so. I have been buying from them for over 7 years, and have never once been ripped off, which is more than I can say for many other retailers (their customer service is, for example, the best I have ever come across). They have a very loyal customer base, and I would respectfully ask that you refrain from questioning the common sense of those customers. HUKDers don't come here to be insulted.

Dead right, HUKDers don't come here to be insulted, posting poor, unresearched deals, motivated by what appears to be a personal preference for QVC is a pretty good example of wasting their time though :-(

QVC customer... me? Since about 1996 it must be, back when it was on analogue Sky! Don't ever buy much, only stuff that isn't available elsewhere, and the rare occasions it is actually cheaper than other retailers. Much as I buy from any other place really, when it is the best deal! I certainly haven't been ripped off by them, as I do know when an item is a good buy, or a rip off, even when the sales technique has been drawn into question by the Advertising standards Authority, which on occasions it has been!

Common sense?
Well, I AM questioning that! If paying 65 quid more for the identical item (and it may well be available for less, I haven't done enough looking!) is common sense then thankfully I don't have it!

People come to this site for bargains, and paying over the going rate is NO bargain!

If you want to stroke the ego of QVC customers, then there is a forum on their web site, and they will be only too willing to hear it. Oddly enough, get away from QVC's own site, then other customers are less happy - this review site rates them as 3.1 out of 5: http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews13709.html there are others less than ecstatic around the 'Net too, but hey, all that goes aside when the price is duff anyway!

Now back to what the site is all about - you seem to be defending it strongly, albeit not by discussing the deal, but by having a dig at me for pointing out a better one! So, defend it by telling us about the DEAL: Now, why is the QVC deal a "hot deal" when the identical item is 65 quid cheaper elsewhere? (I should have said why WAS it better.... when the item I pointed out is still available!)
