It's coming up as £899.94 for me... OP, is there a mistake in your price or another discount I'm missing?

Seems like a brilliant price for the spec. I take it sharp are not highly recommended as this isn't going as hot as it should be.

Too many chavs in here will only vote the 'chav's fav make' Samsung hot, anything else will not be voted as hot..

Sharp make great products. Their fridge freezers in particular are brilliant, but difficult to source in the UK.

LG is the preferred brand here because they are the "cheapest" of the higher quality panels.

Samsungs are a perfectly decent brand though. As is Sharp.

The reason this isn't being as made as hot "as it should be" is because very few people would spend £900 on a TV, even if it was a hot deal and therefore haven't been motivated to vote.

any good for gaming eg burn !

I was tempted (apart from bargain crazy). I own a sharp 42"" 3-4 years old 1080p. It's very hot(heatwise early tech) but pc @1920x1080 is stunning was bought for £1489 suffers from banding (from day one (first one went back which had even worse banding and had an annoying habit of blanking screen for a few secsonds whilst playing 360 / ps3 games switched itself off sometimes whilst using xbox 360/ ps3 )(replacement still does it as well with 360/ps3 () it also now suffers from horrendous image persistance and clouding which is what is putting me off from getting another sharp (picture was / is still stunning though(if you can ignore the 3-4 year of abuse)

Def not buying another Samsung though as all Samsung LCD I own have terrible viewing angles the sharp on the other hand is fantastic from any angle)

Bit of a sweeping statement, So if someone does not like a brand or has had bad times with a product then they will vote cold.
If there was a DFS sofa on here for 5.00 I would vote cold just because they make garbage and the customer services are terrible, its a forum and its peoples right to vote how they want.
I voted hot, but so many dicks on here making stupid statements calling people chavs, its supposed to be friendly on this forum, but there are no mods to be seen when people attack other people for their views, but maybe they are the ones attacking people, and the people that are rude are the chavs.

i just don't get how you can relate a tv brand to a chav? It's getting stupid now

you dont get burn with LED ( its just an LCD panel which is LED backlight)
#14
Says it has a glossy screen, shame as there is a window directly opposite so not sure how good it will be for glare!
#15
haha great description

• Mega Contrast
• Brilliant Colour Processor

Specs mean nothing. Contrast/brightness "stats" are just drivel, from all manufacturers - entirely inventions of the marketing departments, inflated 1000x over the true figures. You need to read proper technical reviews (ie ones where colours and so on are measured, rather than "i fink it luks gud").

Doesn't seem to be adding the voucher for me
Edit: Never mind, was using Firefox instead of IE

i think thats a pretty good price for the spec. I hhave a sharp 42 lcd i purchased three years ao in my room and its absoultely fine. however i bought the same one again for the living room and it suffers badly from clouding. BUT this television is on literally all day! HOT from me
