How would you compare it to Optoma HD65 from Dixons for £429?

Well the HD65 is a budget model and is a good deal at £429 (though been out of stock for a while) uses the same DC2 chip as the xv-z3000 the processing chipset is not good. It only has a 4 speed colour wheel and also uses a clear filter on the colour wheel. The xv-z3000 is a better deal.

I have treated myself to a xv-z3000

Hope you get a new one.

Mine has arrived, it is graded stock. The box had been opened and the item marked as maybe imperfect .

The website stated they were new. :x

Offered me a 20 pounds.

It's going back on Friday, given new bulbs are close to 400 pounds and I have no idea of if/how long the bulb in the projector has been used.

Had nothing back from them yet. But notice they have changed the description from 'brand new' to 'as new'.
