Exactly its £357 cheaper!!! Although I may order the boffer one instead as their postage is cheaper:whistling:

I dont get that you buy a £599.99 product and then they still charge you a paltry £2.99 delivery!

What I meant to say... sorry was typing with excitment............

There was 2 just before I ordered, and still 2 after I ordered....... which was worrying me. It is now showing as OOS so I am not that bothered.

I bet this would make between 100-200 profit on ebay considering its new.
I hate ebay though I couldn't be bothered with the hassle, if I had the money spare I think I would get
one for myself.

Yes all gone, was put off by the price of replacement bulbs, but shouldn't have hesitated :(

Im actually pleased its out of stock now as Ive had my card out ready more than once, the only thing stopping me is that the distance from the projector to the wall id be using for a screen is only about 10ft so may have been overkill.

Ive hit expired now!

yup i got one too.
much cheapness. will do for cheap HD gaming

anyone know where you can get a cheap screen from?

It may have been it was using a cached page, I should think your order has gone through ok though as it quickly went from 2 to out of stock.

Make one you just need to make a wooden frame from timber then stretch a white sheet over it total cost sub £10:thumbsup:

Or do what a mate did fixed a frame of dado to the wall around a sheet of plaster board the right size then got a plasterer in to skim it for a dead flat surface and just painted it white, it looks spot on, the plasterer charged about £30 using skim from a previous job, not bad for 10 minutes work!

Its because pc world are shifting a load of stock, you wont get a new projector of this spec anywhere.
Ive managed to bag a few bargains, scrolled through the whole website but most things have been snapped up now :(

In spite of the description, isn't this just the lamp?

From the PCWorld page -

# Product Code: LAMP1096
# Manufacturers #: AN-K2LP

And putting the manufacturers number into google gets this -

http://www.aboutprojectors.com/Sharp-AN-K2LP-lamp.html

Hopefully not though.

I just called PCworld the number on the link..tiz the full projector, I asked maybe it was a mis-print and maybe just for the bulb..they said no..was the whole projector :)

I just phoned and they confirmed it is only the bulb, so I cancelled. You can see now there is 1 back in stock, and I would suggest to anyone else that ordered you better cancel quickly.
