Great deal on these films

* Disclaimer: This is a dead format and HD-DVD Discs are no longer being produced but if you have a HD-DVD player or want a lot of the already out cheap films this is a great deal :) Wanted to say this to stop the Sony Fan Boys saying it and ruining the thread ** but sure there do that anyway ;)

i ordered 7 of these the other day, bringing my hd-dvd tally to 46. once i get to 50 i think ill be happy with that. the fact most of them are not on bluray or will not be that cheap for 3-4 years makes me happy.

As the format war is over and HD Dvd's are basically a dead format I think it may be even longer than 3-4 years before blu rays hit that low and almost worthless price :-D

well some blurays are as low as 9 quid these days, so im sure some will be 3-4 quid in a few years.

but thanks for reminding me its a dead format and the war is over, id never have guessed that

hd-dvds and blurays are both hi-def - but the people moaning are not those who bought a hd-dvd player when cheap - its the people who didnt. and with around 150 hd-dvds out there, most people would be happy with that for hi-def films. especially if its cheaper than regular dvds.

I wonder who won ? oh that would be me with a catalogue of over 300 hd-dvd for £1,500 @ £5 a title over estimate and only £897 @£2.99 each

Instead of £4,500 @ avg of £15 a disc for the other format that I have 3 movies for 2x casino royal and 1 night at the museum.

And I bought a few extra xbox360 Hd-dvd players for spares as no point in having the disc's without the means to play them.
