Sporting prodigy Shaun White leaves his snowboarding days behind him in favour of this skateboarding title from Ubisoft that allows players to transform a lifeless city as they skate.
Revered as much for his skateboarding career as his snowboarding achievements, Shaun White once again fronts his own Ubisoft sporting title, now focusing on the urban skateboarding that helped make his name. Placed into a dull and lifeless city, players can transform the world around them as they skate, morphing alleys into half-pipes and street sides into ramps, eventually converting the entire area into a slick new skate park.
Recreating street skating’s sense of exploration, Shaun White Skateboarding lets players view the city as their own personal playground, using man-made structures for skating lines and empty fountains to create makeshift bowls. As new areas are slowly revealed and the city transforms, better skate lines will become available. Players can also create their own maps to share with others, or challenge skaters online.
Shaun White Skateboarding captures the sense of creativity and exploration that has kept street skateboarding so prevalent, allowing players to form their own city as they skate.
