Is this a way to become an NUS student to use Amazon student perks?

Is this a way to become an NUS student to use Amazon student perks?
Yes it is. But unidays do not honour this institute

These online courses are almost useless, unless you're just looking to brush up on your knowledge/skills, on a CV they are seen as a joke.

Will I qualify for Morrisons 10% student discount?

i would advise anyone to stay clear from them as they have a very poor post customer services. im speaking of my own personal experience. i wrote email after email and they just ignored them.

How can courses be reduced from £395 to £2 and be genuine?
#8
To be honest I did the Excel course a few months back. It was well worth £2 to brush up on skills and tips.

A few times a year you can get a free course. 6 months ago I took the lightroom one. I didn't know much about lightroom and i have to admit I ended the course and now I know how to use it properly (probably not at expert level, but I'm way more efficient now).

I was happy with it and found it good. And for free, even better.

Negative part: Their CS will call you many times once you finish the course.

You don't need to do this for a NUS Extra card.

When applying for NUS, just select The Shaw Academy, then under roll number, just put your email address (Shaw don't use roll numbers).

NUS application is fine with this.

do you get a certificate when completed btw ? and yes defo block hukd! lol
#14
you have to pay €19 for the certificate. If you don't want the Certificate, its worth doing. By the way, if you search hard on the internet, you can get these course for free.

yikes £19!!! bloody hell! BUT £21 for a diploma course and certification isnt bad really!

I'm doing an advanced course now. it is €19 for the exam if you wish, in addition you can have the course accredited by the NCFE for about €35. the course I'm doing is accredited at level 4. some of the basic courses are just what they say, basic, but so far the advanced course is challenging that I'm doing and I've studied post degree so it's really personal choice. though I'd never pay full price.

I've just signed up for the photography course, just wondering if they send a certificate in the post or is it a printable one?

Of course they don't seem like a joke on CV's. It shows willingness to learn as well as knowledge in that field.

It's a printable one (one that you can download). I'm not sure if they give the option of posting one.

is more about the knoldege you get at the end of the course and not about certificate.

The human resources team at my university team literally ignores any online courses, as they can't be properly verified, and they're easily cheated.

Not directly no. In my experience, you need to pay to complete the final assessment. On passing you get a pdf certificate (which btw is of poor quality).
