Shazans Chicken Samosa 50 pack found only £2.50 at Asda in Chesser Edinburgh. The price tag mark as a regular price, not sale or roll back. Surprisingly, Shazans 20 pack is selling on £3.50 per pack in all three variety such as Meat, Chicken and Vegetables. In online it is showing the price £8.50. Not sure if it is a price error or store specific.

In my opinion this is the number 1 brand for Indian Samosas. Grab one before run out if you would like to have some crispy samosa's.

what's the comments section for if not expressing ones opinion? it's not just there to give praise to the op. the fact is halal condones inhumane methods of slaughter. as it happens most halal meat (lamb and poultry) sold in this country is electrically stunned prior to slaughter but I would prefer not to support traditional (non-stunned) halal slaughter and I think all meat should be labelled stating whether humane slaughter methods had been used.

It's not just because I don't like it, its because a lot of animals suffer unnecessarily in order to satisfy those who wish to eat a halal diet. I believe it should be made illegal to slaughter any animal without stunning it. Especially as stunning is actually permitted in halal slaughter, its just a lot of abattoirs choose not to do it which in my mind is morally unjustifiable.

You really should get your fact correct before you state , some say its makhroo( not liked) but it is done . Stunned and then slaughtered so it is still slaughterd . Can not be eaten just stunned

You are welcome to express your opinion, however, make it in a respective manner and not hurting others. If you do not like halal diet, that is your choice and you have every rights to do that.

If you just have a look on the supermarket shelves, a few years back, there were no halal options in the supermarkets in UK. Nowadays, most supermarkets are selling halal meat and food as they simply could not ignore the increasing demands of it.

I like when how everyone jumps on the bandwagon when Halal is mentioned yet no one blinks when Kosher (Jewish) is mentioned. Kosher and Halal are the same.

Of course it can't be eaten just stunned - that would still be alive. and I have got my facts straight and the facts are as follows.
Halal meat can be electrically stunned within the 'rules' of Islam.
Most Halal lamb sold in the UK is imported from New Zealand and has been stunned prior to slaughter.
Most Halal chicken sold in the UK is electrically stunned prior to slaughter.
Despite the above, some people still insist that they wish for the animal to not be stunned and therefore suffer more than is necessary.
Because this wish is based on religious beliefs the government have decided to permit this unnecessary suffering so as not to upset anyone and many abattoirs carry out inhumane slaughter to meat this demand.
The worst part of it is that because there's no labelling requirement, nobody actually knows what they're buying and what method of slaughter/stunning has been used, so it's very difficult to make an informed choice when buying meat,

well just because u believe it doesn't make it true. studies have been done on both sides and it actually seems stunning causes more pain than slaughtering correctly in the halal way which u seem to call it, zabiha would be a better would to use instead anyway. as stunning a animal causes pain in smaller animals of upto 1 minute 30 seconds and in large animals pain to the brain for even more than 5 mins. cutting the correct veins in the neck results in a massive blood loss and results in almost instant unconscious and nearly no pain for the animals this can be described similar to someone fainting suddenly when say u have been sitting crouch on ur feet for a long time and u suddenly try and stand up if u faint u don't feel any pain that's how it is for the animals also it's healthier for the humans who eat it as most disease are in the blood or from having blood left in a corpse to cause disease if there isn't one in the first place. why did mad cow dieases happen and u will.know it was due to blood being put in animal feed and feeding corpses to animals.

Kosher is not the same at all - kosher does not permit stunning. Halal does permit stunning but in a lot of cases stunning is not used due to some Muslims favouring animal cruelty over humane killing.
Where stunning is not used Kosher and Halal are indeed very similar, its just that the slaughterman wears a different hat, doesn't normally have a beard and says a slightly different prayer - but that makes enough of a difference for it to be 'forbidden' to eat by the other religion.

FYI muslims can eat kosher meat whereas Jewish folk can't eat halal. Do some fact checking before you make comments

These one need to be deep fried and very unhealthy therefore. There are punjabi samosas which can be baked and not deep fried so not full of oil
