In yet another teen-flavoured Shakespeare adaptation, SHE'S THE MAN takes an even lighter approach to TWELFTH NIGHT than the bard himself, but throws a curve ball by mixing its inherent gender-switch romance with a feel-good, 'girl power', sports element. Amanda Bynes (WHAT A GIRL WANTS) is Viola, a high school student who just wants to play soccer, even though her mother (Julie Hagerty) is prepping her for a debutante ball. Just as the girls' soccer team is eliminated from her school, Viola discovers that her brother - also a keen soccer player - is ditching the beginning of the semester to go to London with his band. Disguised as 'manly' as she could possibly be, Viola decides to go in his place and prove that she can make it on the team. However, she doesn't count on falling for the dashing Duke (Channing Tatum, SUPERCROSS), whom she befriends and is forced to reluctantly aid in his wooing of the beautiful and popular, Olivia (Laura Ramsey). Bynes leaps into her role with a broad comic style that works well with this bright, colourful film. The adult roles are handled deftly by Hagerty and Vinnie Jones (SNATCH), as well as David Cross (Arrested Development), who makes the most of his clueless headmaster role with the help of a cavalcade of ridiculous hats.

Fair attack, I give it a 4/10.
Could use a little less generic terms such as questioning my age as most people on the Internet always resort to that tried and tested cover tactic. Attacking spelling and correcting grammar is also handy (when the poster cares).
I would also advise to add the quality cover system of putting IMO after everything you post. Its used to cover any possible sarcasm, personal attack or even differing opinion. If you are trying to bate someone you need to add a sufficient lure.

I was only posting that your post literally saying "really not my type of film " was a little unneeded and un-constructive to the deal. I could post all day on things that either don't appeal or apply to me. If its "really not your type of film " did you really need to come in and tell us that ?.
Some context would be the constant arguments on deals between Xbox 360 and PS3 owners. Both seem to hate and dislike each others product yet still go in the deals and complain and say "I don't like it, just thought you needed to know that" Maybe ....

IMO

Trigger happy PC Police come and get me. Its apparently past my bed time so I'm off to bed.

Also wanted to say many thanks for the personal attack. Its always nice to be shown that I still have a way with words, and am able to provoke so simply.

I liked this comedy movie, saw it on I think C4 a few weeks ago, wanted to buy from HMV/Play etc but was £5+ back then, so ended up buying from a Play seller for just over £3, and yeah she's pretty too lol.

£2.99 from HMV + Quidco is a very good price.

& LOL at people who comments in threads/deals even when they don't like the movie/product, why waste time even typing.

lol youve obviously dedicated yourself to this thread matey, so i shall leave you to it...
i was simply making a comment out of boredom/habit as pretty much every member does on this site...still not quite sure why you seemed to take offence to it and why your comparing the success of our comebacks (4/10) :?

WooHoo, I am part of a group. :)

Not annoyance either, more a pleasure to type at people.

Enough already guys/gals. It's turning into a Shakespeare tragedy in here.

Will do Andy.
Was originally trying to point out the un-needed and irrelevant posts people make (not only on this topic) on items they have no interest in.

Not sure how old she was in the film, but she is certainly hot these days.

She was 18-20 in the film, and hot. Film released in 2006, would have been filmed in prious two years, she's now 23 in 2009. So a guilt free "she's hot" from me.
