I've had a good experience with my Citi Platinium card, does take a while to set up a direct debit as they are still old fashioned and send you a form that does not have the option to pay in full. But other then customer service being in India. They have been a good company, haven't had any problems with them over the last 8 months. Just applied for this Shell card 6% rebate on petrol good for those with 4x4's!!!
What's the catch: The shell rebate you earn on petrol can only be spent back on petrol at Shell.
Not bad - their ferarri fuel seems to do the job on long runs :)
I've had a good experience with my Citi Platinium card

I had account with Shitibank before, but very poor experience though. A call centre in India is nothing compared to other bad deeds they did.

They refused to pay the £50 promised via Quidco after chasing up to no avail. :x In fact whatever they promised on their website had never been realised, eg, £500 free overdraft, and bonus saving rate on top of your saving account. Their online system is also hard to pay compliments.:-(

So close the accounts after 3 months, never wish to go back again.:lazy: :lazy:
Had real problems with citibank, read in the paper that they were about to start a £100 yearly fee for having a current account, phoned them up and they confirmed this although no correspondence was received from them concerning it, it then it took over 4 months for them to close the account with 6 recorded letters being sent to them and the same when closing credit card account they just ignored my letters.
note taken dnt open a bank account with CITIBANK
