shell fuel which is a higher quality than supermarket fuels is cheaper than the major supermarkets. I appreciate this is local but if you live near by this is a steal

why is it higher quality, given places like Tesco is just Esso anyway.

fuel is fuel unless you change the octane.

prices fluctuate regularly and vary from street to street even between the same supplier it's not worth putting them up on here.

Always good prices here, i commute past this garage and would rather have Shell in the tank than the Tescos further down the road.

Pretty sure the supermarkets have additives in that arent as good for your engine.

Shell additives are far better than Jet ( can't speak about others) I was getting about 40 miles extra per tank in She'll over Jet and tested this over 3 fill ups on each

Sure you did. What's that work out as? 5-10% more per tank? They claimed a 2% benefit when they introduced fuel saver unleaded and the ASA found this wasn't legit.

Pretty sure but actually have no idea because theres no decent data in the public domain, and why is that? Do you not think If there was a clear benefit She'll wouldn't let the world know? How much of this thinking is marketing and how much is actually fact?

When i had a decent car (before the kids) i once used Morrisons fuel, the drop off in performance was so much i thought my car was failing. Returned to non-supermarket fuel and performance returned. Not exactly scientific, but i know what i felt man.

I had my credit card hacked at a Shell garage and all my money disappeared into Sri Lanka - so for that reason, I'm out.
