Been hunting around for a good deal on the Blu Ray version of the Sherlock drama that just finished on BBC (the wife didn't get to see it)

It's preordering at:

17.99 Play
15.85 Zavvi / The Hut
15.93 Amazon

But the BBC Shop have it for £15.25.
They also offer 7.5% TopCashBack.

Free Delivery available by using code: BBCSHOP10 until 31st August 2010.

The DVD is also available at 12.99 which seems to be as cheap as it is anywhere - but the TCB makes it more attractive I guess...

It's only 3 episodes isn't it?

Best and most original (if it can be) programme I've seen on tv in ages.

Yes, but they were 90mins each, so not bad really!

Brilliant show as well!

Also get a 60 min pilot that won't be shown on TV.

This is actually quite cheap for a BBC DVD/Blu Ray... they dont tend to be quite as over produced as most films / american TV series.

Well worth grabbing at this price.

can't wait for season 2... they have the go ahead to make it, but as it's from the same people that do doctor who they don't know when they'll get around to making it as they're pretty busy with that. Personally I'd rather they gave up on doctor who and stuck with this instead, lol

Completely agree!! Although the latest Dr Who was a great deal better since Mr Moffatt took over...

Hopefully the revenue from the DVD/Blu-ray Disc sales will part-fund some further episodes.

More discussion in a previous "Misc" thread...

Yep very original, whoever came up with a detective called Holmes and a doctor sidekick called Watson was a genius;)

Ep. 1 was the best, I thought the suggestion was that everyone was killed by the explosion at the end of Ep. 3. Wont that make Season 2 tricky???
