    Don't really like this game and I like both simulator and arcade racers.

    I've tested this game at my friend's PS3 and it's not worth a pence. The steering ''lag'' problem ruins the game, at least I don't see a point in a driving game that's undrivable. It's a shame because SHIFT games look nice.

    A very odd title, it seems to be stuck in a weird place between arcade and realistic with some of the worst handling i've ever seen. Although i have heard that if you drastically change settings then it becomes pretty decent but i don't have the patience for that when there are great racers already on the market without needing to change a thing.

    Keep an eye out for Project Cars ;)

    It's amazing!

    I played this game for over a year and managed to get ranked in the Top ten in the World, there are zero problems with Handling and the Bugatti in this is a beast, there was no steering lag at all on the xbox for me so have no idea why you were having this issue, Yes you need to tune the Cars to get the best out of them but also you need to spend some time getting used to the handling, I stopped playing this game for 3 months then went back to it and I was terrible when I went back to it, but within to weeks I was hitting great laptimes, Bargain at this price, Grab it.

    condracky, there are games you can just popin and play but IMO the graphix dont come close to this nor does the playability, I love the fact that you can have an advantage over your oponent because your spend some time tweaking the car to suit your driving style.

    I really enjoyed both Shift 1 and 2 - nothing wrong with the handling

    This is about as simulation as the NFS franchise has ever been, and makes cockpit view feel like the right way to play. The racing line and points system really help teach you how to race and master the handling.

    I see your points but it's all down to personal preference at the end of the day, glad you had fun with it though.:)

    The Snes version of course?
    Not that crap Nintendo rolls out and pretends is a MK game?

    Severely underrated game, agree with the positive comments on the thread plus on top of that British based developer as far as im aware so more than happy here to heap praise on a quality game.

    The sound design, camera effects and mixing of a very eclectic soundtrack were what impressed the most and elevated it from an above average racer to a visceral standout pack racer. Battlefield wins awards for its sound design, I'd say this is easily as impressive - Always surprised how many people dismiss this after a few hours of play given the handling models of some other games out there, latest Dirt and TDU2 (as much as I enjoy it) spring to mind.

    For £8 this is a steal although I do think its been cheaper at Shopto in the past. Just don't expect the cars to be glued to the track, expect to be challenged by the raw power of the cars and some very aggressive AI. If the handling model seems unresponsive try turning off all assists as the reason the car slows down or edges itself into apexes is because of the assists.

    Also turn the volume up to 11. :{

    I would check first EA servers still running for this game, on some EA titles if you get a year you are doing well.

    Any one that complains about this game is either a child that knows nothing about throttle sensitivity, someone that does not understand the concept of practicing or someone who tests on his friend's PS3 and tells me not to buy the game. Practice is the key word here,(I feel like am talking to little kids or maybe I am)
