Jump to unread Post a CommentFor 8 speed kmc x8 is very cheap on amazon at the moment, but before they have sent me the wrong chain, so caution advised.
This one is same price but much better.

But that price is for an HG53, not an HG93 like the CRC one.
The CRC price is great though I also tend to prefer the KMCs, especially worth the extra if you can get a good deal on one of the superlight ones (X9 SL).
I buy my chains off chain reaction and normally get the silver or gold kmc :)
DMR V8, one of the best pedals i have owned. Ive had mine for 7 years now and no issues at all. been on 3 diff bikes :D
I'm not much a fan of Shimano, anything else is fine.

KMC brown chain can be had for under £3 from ribble. Been using them on my fixed gear bike for years - they're very strong.
Agreed on DMR V8, great pedals, possible to get them for £20 without too much trouble
