Some good deals there - I got their email too

However I dont really understand about their VAT claim - retailers are realling ****ing me off about this.

There is nothing VAT free about most of their prices - they were already discounted. Just advertising

yeah these prices are still the same as last week lol

I love all these retailers jumping on the VAT bandwagon.

Although I'm sure more are going to be jumping on the "We're going out of business and everything must go go go (to the administrators)!" craze. :p

what annoys me is play.com and their every 3 days or so same product changes price by 3-4 quid

example in 1 week assasins creed xbox 360 went from 17.99 to 12.99 to 9.99 to 16.99 just wtf make their ****ing minds up will they i paid 12.99 for it and it gone missing in post great just great i never received a weve sent it to yu email confirmation either yet it says dispatched... waiting for 21 days to pass now sigh...

also i ordered a top for gf and it was 14.99 one day and next its 17.99 hmm

oh yer ace combat 6 17.99 to 9.99 and i reckon in 3 days time it be any where from 12.99 to 17.99 again.

if you order any those games and you have the free mag they sent with some games with £3 code on it good time to buy one of those games, i think you can enyer the £3 code into your shop to account and it will sit there till you use it up on anything it seems, as when i entered my code in it went into the credit account.

also i almost went and bought pes 2009 from gamestation for 19.99 but now i know fifa 09 is the better game and i have put my £20 towards that instead, now im just waiting for fifa 09 to drop to 19.99 or maybe even 22.99 and ill buy it.

Really its 21 days before you can claim. Wasn't it 14 days before. checked right pain

Sometimes ringing them up and telling them that you had no email confirmation of order but your account says dispatched, they might resend it? That is if you get a helpful assistant. Laterly I have noticed that my play.com orders have been hit or miss with actually getting the correct item sent out to me and they never refund the full amount of postage back yet they say they will.

About the changing of prices, once when I ordered 2 copies of a game but was charged differently, one costing £3 more, rang up to return it and was told the difference was because the stock came from a different supplier. Other times it could be cos of warehouse stock clearance or it was in the sale.

Going back to shopto, it looks like their prices stay the same longer and don't sell it unless they have the stock and their deliveries are faster to the customer.
