Oh my gosh.. I have been waiting for a good deal for a duvet for ages and i have finally managed to bag myself one... hopefully this will benefit someone else too :-)

The natural sleeping experience combines maximum warmth with lightweight comfort. Movement of filling is restricted by being held between channelled walls in individual boxes. This design means warmth and moulding round the body for greater luxury and comfort.

Item No.: 74R821

Cover fabric: 100% cotton, filling: 85% goose feathers 15% goose down

Machine washable

Delivery £3.50

I have been using the code SHA1 (must be capitals) for free delivery.

Great offer,

I just ordered one for £36. But something bizarre just happened. It only allowed me to use one method of payment, so I made a part payment with a gift card I received for Christmas (£25) and pressed continue. I was expecting the balance to reappear as £11 and make the other part payment with my debit card. But to my surprised it just confirmed the order. And I've just received a confirmation email too.

:-D:-D:-D

Me too!!
This site costs me a fortune. Thought it was designed to save money. :whistling:
Also added a few other things to the order that caught my eye but did use the voucher for the free P&P.
Thanks OP.

As an animal rights person I find it disgusting that these products are still made when synthetic materials will do the job just as well.
You may be saving money, but birds are dying in the process.

I just oredered a superking sized bed and mattress today, so this is perfectly timed! Though the bed wont arrive for at least a month, now I will be properly prepared when it arrives!

Thanks.

Great deal! Keep finding them, positive rep given from me - I would buy one myself but I think my husband might leave me (although at least then I'd have a nice duvet to snuggle under).

Shame about the post from mcek. There are other forums elsewhere for having ethical discussions.

Yeah but they do keep you warm :-D

I'd like to think they wait for the birds to die of "natural causes" before nicking the feathers ;-)

Now HUKD needs a deal on superking duvet covers :P

Gah must resist.. matching.. pillows!

there is no shame is my post. i was stating my opinion on this offer.
in other posts i've reminded people of quidco discounts etc, so why can't i remind you of what goes on in this 'natural' process? buy if you like, your choice, I'm just saying that there are alternative products.

Fantastic bargain - thank you!!!
#33
thanks for the tip-off not normally ordering things like this, but a great bargain and well... duvets sure get some use so best get a nice one.. seems a very good quality one for the price! kudos to OPster :)

Well since I had goose for my xmas dinner this is just like recycling! Thats a good thing otherwise the feathers left after my lunch would have gone to waste!

is the Queen allowed to have a swan feather and down duvet cover?

I don't mind people posting their opinions as long as it doesn't continue off topic and in a case like this turn into a flame war. From the sounds of your second response neither do you so that's fine let's leave it there then guys!

You talk a lot of sense biggerfella. Much better to make use of available resources. Those man made fillings cause untold damage to the environment.

Nice find. Does anyone know how cold the duvet is suitable for? Is it suitable for the warm winter of England or cold winter of Scotland? Thanks.
