I played the original and loved it, don't seem to have the time for games any longer, I might have to start again. Oh the hours wasted on this Masters Of Orion and C&C

Amazing game now available on an amazing platform.

Pretty sure that's the lowest its dropped before ;) Definitely pick this up if you don't have it, or even if you just have the base game. The two main expansions (usually only drop to a fiver each) at a fair bit to the game. Though apparently brave new world adds the basics from Gods & Kings. Either way just get it ;)

Hot - I love this game!

IMO, this is better than the recent 'Beyond Earth' version :)

Tbh, the base Civ 5 was in a pretty similar state to BE. That is probably my biggest issue with this franchise now. Expansions are needed to make them shine.

I noticed that too. And also that they've copied a lot of the game mechanics from Civ 5 (even down to word for word text) pretty much wholesale across to BE... To me, BE feels more like a mod than a new game.

Don't you mean the Windows version? Not the "PC version"? Since I have a PC but it runs GNU/Linux, a "PC" does not mean "Windows"

Also, I don't think Steam games are platform-specific, if you buy the Windows version, I'm quite sure you can install it on GNU/Linux too and the other way around.

Most games you can. There are exceptions though.
