John Lewis seem to have the best price going for this machine but they are also offering 3 promotions:
* Save £50 when you trade-in your old appliance - Enter SIEMENS50 at payment screen and select disposal below
* FREE 5 year guarantee via redemption
* 3 months of Finish Quantum tablets free (80 tablets)

Free delivery and removal of old unit too. (Removal is charged at £9 but you get a total discount of £59)

Just ordered mine

Cant see many places online offering any of these offers, certainly none with all three.

Currys, Dixons and Comet have now all reduced their prices to £399. None of them offer a £50 trade-in, but for those without an existing dishwasher, buying from one of these stores, and using cashback sites (such as Quidco) and discount codes would be cheaper, as John Lewis does not offer these.

But do they offer a 5 year guarantee? I think that is worth more than 3% possible cashback.
Voted hot.

So it does! :)
The choice then is £50 from JL for the trade-in plus the dishwasher tablets or a possible 3% (£11.97) from Comet.

I bought this model of dishwasher yesterday at John Lewis. It isn't listed on the WWW site anymore, but the deal is the same one (£349 including delivery and a 5 year guarantee, if you have an old dishwasher to trade in).

I had a Miele before with only a 2 year guarantee that blew its electronics at 3 years old. Repair estimate £550. These are designed to last 20 years.

Siemens are tested to last 10 years. Anyhow I find it quiet like my Miele, but washes slightly less efficiently. Silverware isn't gleaming, mirror finish. Biggest noticable issue is the drying efficiency on plastic items, and the walls, rotors and baskets of the dishwasher itself - covered with droplets after a wash. This needs overnight drying with the door ajar. The Hydro dry system is an eco step too far, which although saves electricity does not dry plastics properly. The only main weakness.
