Cracking price for this 8Kg Siemens washing machine, with the bonus and peace of mind of a 5 year warranty (via online claim form). This is a clearance deal at John Lewis and was previously priced at £499

The large capacity Siemens WM12Q390GB washing machine makes a great choice if you have a lot of different material types to wash, with sleek LED controls to make programme selection easy.
A 1200rpm spin speed gets clothes drier after washing, but the drum will care for clothes too. The waveDrum has steep edges to create the power needed for heavy duty loads, while the shallow edges allow your clothes to glide gently around the drum.
Additionally, the surface of the drum itself has been sculpted into a raindrop pattern that emulates the shape of the paddles, to offer even more potent yet gentle treatment of your delicate items. This and the dedicated wool programme make the WM12Q390GB particularly suitable for washing knitwear.
The WM12Q390GB has 15 programmes, including:
Easy-Care
Delicates
Wool
Textile guard
Mixed fabrics
Plus, there is a 15-minute quick wash for small loads that is a godsend for when you just can’t wait for that garment!
This machine has a function to reduce creases, to make ironing easier, and with a fantastic A+++ rating for energy it will cut running costs too. A child lock is on hand for added peace of mind.

Which? states this is a best buy at £439.99. Quote:-

This Siemens washing machine does a good job of cleaning and spin drying your clothes, and it's easy to use. The anti-vibration panels don't stop the spin from being annoyingly loud - but so long as you don't want to put it in an open-plan area, it's definitely worth adding to your shopping list.'
So with the extra 3 years warranty I think it is very hot.....I've just ordered one been looking for a good deal on a WM for some time, thanks Banjax

I am seriously going to consider this as need a larger load machine now that the kids are getting older.

I hope this machine actually adds water to the wash, my eco-friendly machine you can hardly see any water in it, I WANT to see water dammit lol

Heat for a great deal. Would order if needed, but current Siemens just won't give up working

My sister bought one of these last month, great machine but Siemens quality is slipping, only has a plastic tub and the pull out detergent drawer doesn't look like it will last either

Agree.

My Bosch washing machine has done about 11 fault free years. If "Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte" keep the same quality levels today, this could be a very fine purchase.

Was tempted by this but put off slightly by the negative reviews on JL site. What do the people that have received it think?
#13
Looks good - shame my current Siemens is going strong (kind of) - 7 Years now.

I had to change the brushes last week and I was very impressed with the internal components and it made changing the brushes a doddle so if this model is similar build I wouldn't hesitate.

Either going for this or the Panasonic but reviews are touch and go on both

Came today looks very good (for a washing machine lol)
