God, they've being trying to shift this stock for ages. Ebuyer has had a go, so has Expansys.

I keep waiting fot them to knock them out for nothing. If you buy one, go thru Quidco for an extra 3%.

No, it's not that I don't rate them.

It is just that there has been a stock of about a 100 in the UK for the last two years that they have been trying to get rid of. Expansys & Ebuyer also have a go at them as well. They just seem to crop up so often,
For example,

I browse a number of other forums and it appears on those as well, so I get used to seeing the offer every couple of months. It is quite a big phone by todays standards, but it is a PDA type phone although somewhat dated. If they dropped it to £50, I'd have a load of them, keep one as a spare and sell the others. It is a fairly specialist market for these.

If buying this type of phone I'd probably recommend a C500 or C600 - more up to date plus smaller, lighter etc. and much better user support which is extremely important for Windows devices.

AS previously mentioned by others these have been around for ages and are just not shifting, probably due to the fact that:

They are really big and heavy
No bluetooth - on a SmartPhone means no SatNav
Sierra VOQ are not supported by the manufacturer anymore, and therefore questionable warranty

Taken from the Voq website

"Thank you for visiting the Voq Professional Phone website to learn more about products. On June 7, 2005 we announced we are exiting our Voq Professional Phone initiative. We will have more specific information regarding our plans by the time of our second quarter earnings conference call scheduled for July 20th."

Basically do not touch with a barge pole at this price - if they ever come down sub say £40 then worth a punt.

Sorry but my 2p worth :(

Thanks elitom, i value both positive and negative feedback on a deal (as long as its warranted) and in this case it is. So, thanks for your reply and all the info!
