I know there are already a few deals for the Jessops lens reductions, but the 18-200 Sigma looks a good deal to me. Use code ootd5.

Good price for an all-round lens. I bought the 55-200mm version back in the summer and it is a good lens. Sigma are one of the best companies to make non-original lenses but there is no vibration control or macro.

I know the Nikon version with VR and Macro is 4x the price but it is worth every penny and I'm going to trade my Sigma 55-200mm and Nikon 18-100mm for the it.

Nevertheless heat added as this lens is ideal if your budget does stretch to a Nikkor lens and is real value for money.

Worth noting is that the autofocus won't work on D40/D60 (I think) as there is no built in autofocus motor but you'd better check first.

Your right, it doesnt support the D40 range (I cant recall if the D60 had the lens motor)

Can't figure out which one this offer is.

Is it:

18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC : http://www.sigma-imaging-uk.com/lenses/dclenses/18-200mm.htm

or

18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS : http://www.sigma-imaging-uk.com/lenses/dclenses/18-200mmOS.htm

It'll be the first one as the OS lens is almost twice the price and the picture on Jessops site doesn't have 'optical stabalised' printed on the lens barrel.

Is it worthwhile to sell my Nikon 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G IF-ED DX and purchase this one instead? I could also keep my current 18-70MM one and purchase one from 70-200 or 70-300 mm.

What you'd think?
