Wouldn't bother if you want decent pictures, focus is very slow so continually autofocusing and they are not that reliable. You generally get what you pay for with lenses. If your looking for something cheap you can manually focus at a distance then fine, but don't reply in it to capture those quick moments.

Anybody want the OS (optical stabilized) version of this lens, I have one brand new never used I'll do a part-swap.

The tamron a005 is cheap used and as good as the nikon.

got the non apo version yesterday from amazon, at the same price.. this lens performs fine with a steady hand, I've no issues with it what so ever super impressed actually. HEAT.
