Right...just got one of these at the above price!

It looks the business and feels like it should cost way more than £5!!

But....mine was in German so I couldn't read the display! Plus, it just wouldn't consistently work. It would occasionally work, and then say no signal.

i would say that for every minute it worked, ten minutes wouldn't.

Perhaps mine is just faulty, but I don't know. I took it back for a refund

BTW, I have voted HOT

how accurate it is?

In fairness when it did work the readings it gave were believable. It seemed to update itself quite quickly too as I exercised
#19
Is it a stop watch too?

Thanks. How about the battery? How long can it last usually?

If someone could pick me up one I would be really grateful! I'm a bit out of the country at the moment!

Based on my own experience I would have to say that it isn't very accurate, at times my heart rate would jump considerably then just as quickly as it had risen fall back to a more realistic reading - or just lose the signal entirely and flatline.

I'm just going by what I've observed.

it just depends on how thick your skin is.:-D
#25
Oi you! :)

I should say that I've observed the above when I'm already some way into my exercise routine.

I bought one of these a few weeks ago as a spare. It does start in German but fairly easy to switch to English (just compare the English and German instructions to find the right menu on the watch).

I found that it did sometimes struggle to pick up the signal - I think it is due to the sensors on the belt. It needed a lot of moistening beforehand, and then some fairly active exercise (i.e. sweating!) to keep going!

Yeah I saw that it was possible to change the language to English, but I didn't get it done!

For me, no matter what I did to the sensor it just wouldn't work. But as I said mine might have just been faulty

Enfield store had in stock but not on display. I asked and they have crates of them out the back, but at £10 each, not £5.
#29
Great deal, let me know if you can get any....!
Checked my local stores today - no luck! Closest in stock 100+ miles away at Peterborough...:-(
