  Personally i would pay near full whack for this, £40 that is. Reason being, i never got a round to playing these two first time out but still apparently stand the test of time. Fixed camera for me in some areas always helped add tension, not ruin gameplay.
  
  Basically, seeing as this generation has not had a survival horror of this calibre, its worth its price. The closest thing we've had is Siren Blood Curse (Worth playing btw), but i think it shows how naff the survival horror genre is now for me to be this excited about playing a ten year old game.

  I don't know what you guys are moaning at, the original Silent Hill looks terrible on modern 40" TV's so it's best left alone & Silent Hill 4 is generally disowned by the hardcore fans as it's accepted as being poor & didn't start life as a Silent Hill title and was retrofitted part way through development.

  Last thing I checked this wasn't called the "Complete, full and unadulterated Silent Hill Collection that caters for everyone". Stonking deal, thanks OP. Don't give a flying fudge that it doesn't have every Silent Hill game and spin off in existence in it, SH2 and 3 were the best of the series.

  As with MGS, the first game that made the game what it was isn't part of the collection. Shame really as I would love to replay them with today's touches.

  Worth noting that Silent Hill 4: The Room is available on original xbox (and I would imagine quite cheaply?), and works on the 360 :)

  Had this on order with Zavvi for £19.95 for months, so the price isn't anything new, but still the cheapest so I guess its HOT :)
  
  SH2 & 3 are fantastic, but it would have been nice to have a HD remake of the original :(

  Silent hill 2 and 3 were great games. Silent hill 1 would have to have remade rather than ported. Silent hill 4 was crap so no big loss ! They are just high resolution ports.

  I saw some gfx comparisons, the old games look much better!! Effects have been removed to "upscale" the graphics for the HD versions.
