I went into Tesco Burnage (manchester) and one of the staff pointed out that these duvets had been reduced from £24 to £6... I don't know if its nationwide but its worth a check. She said the staff bought most of them but got some more instock... There were 2 duvets left after i bought 6 lol...

Sorry but can't be bothered scanning my receipt as proof because it just says "duvet" on it..

Anyways its a great price as the cheapest I can find online is around £18

Good old Christmas greed creeping in as usual - even if you didn't have a single duvet to start with (which is pretty unlikely) you wouldn't need six.

The cheapy Microfibre ones are simply awful anyway, and £6 is about the going rate. Primark do them in a pack that also includes 2 pillows (about as good as the duvets), and a mattress protector, all for around £9.

People aren't allowed to buy for family and friends now? Go away Lakeside

Buying Tesco microfibre duvets for all your family & friends for Christmas would indeed make you very popular. I bet they can't wait to open presents from one particular friend/family member.

Don't tell people to go away "Adamo", I'm allowed an opinion like everyone else and this is it.

fingers crossed they have this in my local store, make perfect dog beds that I can dispose off every now and them. Now just have to save the used ones up for those pesky scamming non charity status far eastern European clothing collectors

Buying 6 that you don't need just because they are discounted does seem excessive. A duvet is something most people don't replace all that often, so I'm surprised that you had 6 family and friends all in need of a new one!
#10
wow i wasnt expecting everyone to analyse if i needed 6 duvets or not.... well let me break it down to you lol..

Firstly im a student...when i see something which is 75% off which i need or could need in the future, im going to buy it:p

Secondly, im moving into a 2 bed apartment in January so 1 duvet was for my bed, and the other was for my room mate. The 3rd duvet was for my cousin and the 4th for my mum.. I bought 2 spare because after a night out a lot of friends come over and stay in our flat and being the nice guy that i am, i like to make sure they are warm during the night!:w00t:

I rest my case.

Merry Xmas everyone!

OP stated instore, but it seems unlikely there'll be any left now I would imagine.
..... as for buying 6, really is it such an offence? I only get annoyed when people then go on to sell them on ebay or similar.

why shouldnt someone go on to sell them on ebay ??

with these kind of offers its just hit and miss, u either get lucky or not. Most of the big price crashes on tesco products are instore and store specific, so whenever you pass by tesco, just have a pop in and ask if they have any crazy offers.... Also, they usually put stuff on offer after midnight..

I'd just rather see people grab a bargain than someone greedy make a profit.

lol its only a bargain if you need it.. if your buying it for the sake of the price like a lot of people do thats just as much greed...
some people buy to sell to be able to afford to purchase one for themselves... ;-)

Why are people ridiculing the poster for buying six...Lots of people grab loads of the reduced food and cannot even use it, at leat these won't go mouldy in a couple of days They should not have to answer to everyone else as to why they have made this purchase. I thought we lived in a free country, after all its not that much of a deal that you are all getting your knickers in a twist a is probably store specific.
Heat and rep added you poor thing.
