Edit: Seems like NO TIME LIMIT on returns, either!

Further edit: You DO NOT have to be a Costco Member to order from Costco Online. However, non-members incur a 5% surcharge on the prices shown on-site.

Forgot to say, they give you the option to have an online sub for 15 quid for the year and that means you don't pay the surcharge. On this item you would actually only be paying 6 quid extra with membership included. Worth thinking about.

Offer ends 8/01/17.

Any idea how long returns are allowed?
#2
Looking through the hukd history doesn't seem like Miracoil gets much heat on here. Is it not very good quality?

Any idea how long returns are allowed?

I was once told (by a Costco Member) that returns are allowed at any time after purchase with no time limit imposed but not sure how reliable this info is?

Edit:

What is Costco’s Customer Satisfaction Guarantee and Returns Policy?
Subject to the conditions and exceptions described below, we guarantee your satisfaction with every product we sell. If you are not satisfied with the products sold by us, you may return them to us for a full refund, including delivery charges.

Whilst nearly all items can be returned without a time limit, the following must be returned within 90 days of purchase: televisions, projectors, computers (including laptops, tablets and PDAs), cameras, camcorders, MP3 players, cellular phones and other products covered by our Electronics Return Policy – Click here to learn more about our Costco Concierge Technical Support Services. We extend the manufacturer’s warranty to 5 years on televisions and 2 years on computers and camcorders. All other electronic products are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty. Special sales terms

When you are returning jewellery items, costco.co.uk requires additional time to verify the piece of jewellery, in which case a refund will be approved upon positive verification and as long as the item is not damaged or changed in any way (i.e. resized or reset). This process may require seven to ten business days.

Looks like they were right with regards to mattresses!

From my research the miracoil 2000 is one of the best you can get. This is only 760 so doesnt seem like the nornal miracoil ones. Ur looking at 600 for the proper ones https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B007XDNM3Y/ref=mp_s_a_1_fkmr0_2?ie=UTF8&%3Bqid=1483109808&%3Bsr=8-2-fkmr0&%3Bpi=SL75&%3Bkeywords=Miracoil%2B2000%2BSilentnight&th=1&psc=1

Is Miracoil actually pocket sprung? Pocket sprung sounds like the way forward...

It's not like your ordinary spring mattress though. The reviews on various websites say how good it is.

Hot from me and I've ordered one.

Costco aren't known for selling rubbish, that's why people go there.
#10
Its not rubbish...but not quality. I used be all 'its only a mattress who cares' until i slept in a guests house with miracoil. MASSIVE difference.
#11
just ordered one seems a good price
#12
Didn't realise they did an online membership, interesting, thanks op!

Anyone got a promotional code please?

I'm not a member so paid £183.74 hopefully it's worth it.

Used to make the spring base for these. They didn't seem that bad.

Voted hot because this a rare offer that includes old mattress disposal.

There was a big monopolies enquiry in Germany about mattresses after a cartel was discovered involving every major manufacturer and retailer. One businessman was fed up with extortionate mattress prices, spotted a gap in the market and started his own online mattress company. Things started to go wrong and he managed to gather proof that mattress factories were being blocked from working with him. Companies got fines.

Nowadays when I see sky high mattress prices everywhere in the UK I do get to wondering....

Don't forget, in addition to free removal of your old mattress, Costco also offer no time limit on returns for mattresses. Even if this wasn't cheaper than anywhere else (it is!) it still makes it a great offer...

I was just now investigating membership cost. Found that you have to be a chartered professional , a business owner or employee of a 'gold' company to qualify.

Then I see this:
http://www.costco.co.uk/how_we_differ#tab1
MEMBER PRICING & OPEN TO NON-MEMBERS
Published prices are for members & online subscribers only. A surcharge of 5% (+VAT at the standard rate) will be added to total purchases made by non-Costco UK members and non-Costco UK online subscribers.

It it really this simple? Go for the 5% surcharge instead of getting membership? Does that only apply to online Costco purchases? :|

Yes, I've bought twice from Costco online, am a non-member and both times got charged the 5% surcharge. You need to be a member to buy from store.

Just waiting for Panther guys to contact me to arrange delivery. Feel a bit stupid after spending that much on a mattress but we shall see.
#24
Ordered. Seems decent from the reviews and Amazon are selling the king for £100 more! Cheers

Sorry for sounding stupid but What does that 'no time limit returns' mean?

Effectively, Costco will accept the return of it, and issue a refund, any length of time after purchase! There doesn't appear to any sort of time limit on returns.

Without reason or do I have to make something up that's wrong with it? I know they used to be easy with other things but they've clamped down on electronics now so am told

Gone for this. Thanks OP! Went for the on line sub as I'm sure I could make use of the subscription again in the next 12 months.

I note the offer on the mattress (and divan) ends on 8/01/17.

I noticed today it was only on until 8th so ordered a double. Think they were about £230 a few months ago in store. The store is at the bottom of my road but I have no way of getting it home. Gona have to wait for delivery.

Cheers OP. I took a trip to Dreams earlier to look around. Prices were mainly £700-1400. We paid £500 something with the last one which I haven't been overly impressed with. It's only lasted 5 years and even then it's been needing to be replaced for the past two years. Reviews seem good and the price more so. Ordered and paid the £7 non-member fee.

It did but it's still a very good price compared to elsewhere, coupled with the apparent no time limit returns and the free removal of your old mattress.

Anyone got theres yet? If so, is it OK?

Received, good quality, firm enough.
However, the driver charged me £10 for removal of the old mattress.

I'd complain. When I booked my delivery I mentioned removal of the mattress as it says you need to tell them, and the guy said, yes, that's included.

Agreed, I think the driver was pulling a fast one demanding money, the lowlife. Contact Costco or he may continue defrauding others. Needs sacking....

Thanks guys.
Contacted Costco, they said the delivery is Slientnight directly, and they had noticed this, refunded £10.
Hope others were aware, avoid the defraud.
