We find it best to put the control at the bottom of the bed otherwise you problems like the reviewer online.(Big bump right near your shoulder where the waterproof electrical connection is.)

How much do they cost to run,my son is living in a very cold house ,it gets cold 10 mins after the gas heating is off its freezing and he could do with one of these to keep his bed warm, well when he has not got company.
Happy New Year....

Just paid £25 for a double for the Mrs. and it broke within 2 days. Got a replacement, so we will see how that goes.

They get very warm, and a 3 Year Warranty.

I LIKE GETTING INTO A COLD BED MYSELF,BUT MY WIFE HAS SOCKS ELECTRIC BLANKET ,PJ'S SHE PROBIBLY WOULD WEAR A HAT IF I WOULD NOT COMMENT ON HOW SILLY SHE WOULD LOOK.
God i can remember freezing metal window frames inside my bedroom and one fire to heat the house, none of this central heating we all have now..

Just pennies really. Obviously running costs will vary according to your usage and your current electricity provider's tariff but typically they can be around 3 - 5 pence per night (that's for all night use).

Taking an assumption of 60W appliance (may be slightly higher or lower, but not far off this) & 11p/Kwh electricity unit price, it would cost under ½p per hour to run.

Cheers thanks for that info, that is good to know,I am not up in electrical costs, well I do have a 400 pound a quarter bill, lower than the 615 per quarter I used to pay.I do like ELECTRICAL STUFF.

Speak for yourself. At £1200 per annum to heat my house, I dont use the Central Heating. So the Electric Fire heats the Front Room, and this Electric Blanket for night-time. :)
