Sorry if this doesn't turn out right, new to this!

Seen these advertised in the paper. Went on line and got it delivered for £5.50.

Seen lots of other memory foam mattress on google but this was the only one with a proper name for the price.

It is not the same, the one you have posted is 6 inches thick, compared to this one which is 8 inches thick - dunno if anything else is different.

not Silent Night though? I can't find same item on there?

costco do the silent night miracoil £160 inc VAT for the KingSize, £140 for the double and £120 for the single, thats all inclusive of VAT and they are excellent mattresses as I bought one

you have to be a trade member of costco-which cost £20 a year.

Had a look at them in TJ Hughes the other day & have to say they look garbage, wafer thin - nowhere near the 8" it says they are. It rolls up into a box.

Same matress as TJ Hughes, and more than £100 more. It would be better comparing like for like before slating the deal

Just to say that I have a memory foam mattress - about 10 inches thick - and it is wonderfully comfy and has helped me sleep so much better, BUT, they retain so much heat that they are only suitable for use in the winter/autumn - come the warm nights it becomes unbearable. Just bear that in mind if you are thinking of getting one.

HI,
Settled for a memory foam topper rather than a full mattress. It's only about two inches thick. MUCH cheaper but just as comfy. You can lie on it on the floor and still be fine. Done my back the world of good, it's amazing what some quality sleep can do.

How much and where can you get the toppers from thinking this may be the better way forward as I find my normal matress to hot at times, so would be great if you can just remove in the summer?

Cheers

I've just bought a Silent night double mattress topper for £50. It was the cheapest I could find. They do sell them in Woolworths online but never had any in stock.

Seems to work a treat (havent had a bad night sleep yet - had it for about a month)

I had this one delivered last week from tj hughes,I saw it in the box and was not very impressed
but it inflates to a full size mattress within minutes as it is vacuum sealed.
it is very comfortable to sleep on and I would recommend this to anyone:-D

Does anyone else own a memory phone topper or mattress that would care to comment if like Nemesis100 on post #12 that they find sleeping on them to be quite a hot experience and possibly unusable in summer? I dont fancy waking through the night in a sweaty mess but I do fancy one of these memory foam products.

Also, after some use do they still return to their as-new shape or are you starting to get indentations forming where you would normally sleep?

Thanks.

try it out, if not then get some foam, make the mattress even by filling in the dents, and chuck a matress topper on top!

I have a silent night memory foam mattress and in summer it can be confursed as a waterbed and no im NOT kidding, is a cracking comfortable bed though, just require water wings if you cant swim

Would probably be worth trying to find out how thick it is, as the thicker the better (and more pricey). Cheaper ones tend to be 2" as opposed to 3"

I got lucky on eBay last night and managed to get a 3" one for £30 less than the sellers retail shop let them go for :-D

Thought that was for a double for a minute, cheers anyway!

Note that the link to the topper is a Sleepeazzy not the famous brand Sleepeezee - just incase some people thought they were buying a decent brand. Not that is probably makes much difference but its easy to overlook with such a blatant rip-off of the brand.

Sorry, thought I'd put it.
I got it from Morrisons about 3 weeks ago.
Was £50 for a double size
Made by SilentNight
The mattress topper comes in a removeable cover - so cover can be washed.
Like I have said, so far so good. Have had a good nights sleep every night since I got it.

The TJ Hughes mattress is single. For £15 more, you can get a double at: www.memoryfoammattress-domus.co.uk - and they have the Toppers that others are asking about.
