This is an awful oven. Brought one myself last year and ended up chucking it in the bin. Don't waste your money.

I disagree completely with fabab's comments.I bought one about five years ago albeit under a different brand name but it came from Lidl and to all intents and purposes it is the same oven.
It has had virtually daily use since then until it expired a week ago.If memory serves I think they were only £19.95 then so £4 per year has to be a bargain.
Luckily I bought another as a "spare" when they became available again a couple of months ago.I fully expect it to give the same service.

Same here kingstumble - I've had a it for nearly 2 months now & I absolutely love it :)
I've been able to make loads of food with it from pizza to roast chicken

My oven has just died on me after 2 years of practically daily use. For the £25 paid for it, a real bargain. I'm hoping that I can replace it pdq.

I have used my Silver Crest mini oven purchased from Lidl store in Halifax every day for 4 years, in fact, it's the only oven I have. Unfortunately, the grill has stopped working.

I would dearly love to get my hands on another one. Can you solve this problem for me as soon as possible?

Bought one of these mini ovens from Lidyl for £29.99, a real bargain. Only complaint is that the fan is a bit noisy but otherwise it's great especially for the price. 3 year guarantee as well.

does anyone have a problem with the worktop being scorched under the oven/? is it save to use.
    kingstumble
I've been using these ovens for over 5 years and I 've never had a problem with a scorched worktop. It doesn't even get warm! And regarding the earlier post,my fan isn't noisy at all.
Sounds as if yours is faulty.

My first one had a thermostat problem, But sivercrest paid for it to be sent back to Germany and I had a new one within a week. It now works perfectly. Very happy with it.

Can it be plugged into normal electric or does it have to be wired into electric like normal cookers. I wanted to use it in my caravan. Thanks
    kingstumble
Just plug it into a normal 3 pin 240v outlet,as you would with a microwave.
