I have a virtually identical one from Aldi which is so good I bought another 5 to give to family.
I am a Grandparent and have been sharpening blades of all kinds since I was a lad and I am VERY impressed with these wee sharpeners. No use for scythes or billhooks but will do a fair job of most household knives and good on scissors, made a couple of older pair (Fiskars) like new.

Bit late to the party but I just use a half round file, works perfectly.
