Lidl are doing a record deck with usb sd card and aux in recording and playback this coming Thursday. If you have a half decent vinyl collection, or are just starting to discover just how great vinyl sounds compared to cd and mp3's but don't have a record deck (sometimes called a record player or "turntable") of your own yet then this should be ideal.

This is a belt driven deck, with strobe speed control (always the best in my opinion). It features 45 and 33 1/3 rpm, felt turntable mat, stylus cover,

It records directly to usb in mp3 format (I would've preferred wav or flac personally) And its remote controlled.

This may only be available in Northern Ireland, so check your area first.

The gumph:

Records to USB stick or SD/MMC card directly in MP3 format

Additional recording option via AUX-IN

Digital LCD display and strobe light for speed control

10 programmable title memory and 4 MP3 playback functions (repeat one, repeat all, intro, random)

3 year guarantee

2 speed options: 33 1/3 and 45rpm (Compatible with 18/25/30cm records)

MP3 playback via USB port or SD/MMC card reader with ID3 tag display

Belt-driven record player with ruby stylus needle and auto-stop function

Contents: remote control with batteries (2x AAA), tone arm weight, spindle adaptor, needle cover and felt mat

Connections: Line out (L+R), AUX-IN (3.5mm), USB-port and SD/MMC card reader (for storage mediums up to 32GB)

Probably okay for what it is - but tbh you're unlikely to discover just how good vinyl can sound by using one of these.
Vinyl would sound better than cd if the pickup arm was a piece of stick with a bent pin on the end. There, I've said it.
Hey i bought this record player for my grandmother for christmas the problem now is i havnt a clue what kinda speakers i need for it? Any help is appreciated!
I think it needs to be connected to a hifi amplifier, mini system or similar with a "phono" input, or else a pair of powered speakers with rca inputs like these:
