as Sam Sparro would sing "Black and Gold?", I had the yellow and blue ultra burner, it was the ****, proper skyway's on it!

If you get the chance download bmx bandits, it brings back soooo many memories.

Anyway, looks like a nice bike especially with the cabling routed to let you spin the handlebars with out getting tangled up.

Just applied the discounts and got it for £70.46 and it qualified for the £5 promotional voucher and as I need more xmas stuff from Argos anyway this makes the bike a little over £65 - bargain!

Great Price again whizzkid! I was let down with the kawasaki order from Tesco's heres hoping this one goes hrough. Delivery scheduled for the 8th. I spent most of my childhood on a BMX bike. Again at £70.46 its an absolute bargain.

Just a little note. Those who were let down with the Tesco offer that whizzkid posted can benefit more with this offer. When I checked my refund from Tescos they actually refunded me £70 instead of the £57 that I had paid for the bike. So realisticly you have profited an extra £13. Take this off the price of this deal and that makes it a great BMX for £57.46.

Or RAD, which is way better.

I could only dream of a BMX like that when I was a kid, Was stuck with a Raleigh Chrome Burner myself witch I dreamed of sticking a set of Skyway wheels on, but never did have the money, Kids are lucky little sods these days.

I was thinking of getting this for my 19 year old son, he is 6ft, would this be too small for him do you think?

I would say it would be the equivalent of an adult sitting on a primary school chair. Just to draw my own comparisons. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info, apparently BMX's go up to 21.5" frame, maybe I would be better off getting him one of those

Anyone know of any other BMX deals ?
#18
BMX's go up to 22", however that's the top tube length not the height. You will only be able to buy a 22" BMX if you buy a custom bike like a Macniel Duece Duece (i.e. a real BMX not a kids look alike BMX). Even then a 22" is only good for a very tall person, I have a really nice proper BMX & at 5"10 I only need a 20.75".
Just bear in mind a BMX like this is just a kids bike & will break easily if you treat it like a proper BMX should be treated. But for a kids BMX it's a good deal.

Fionamarina if your son is into BMX & wants to learn park, street & or dirt jump tricks then this BMX is not for him, real BMX's that can handle that start at £250 for an entry level one rising to over £1000 for one kitted out with the best components, so if that's what he wants then look at bikes on Alans BMX & the other sites I linked below.
If it's just for getting about on then that will be fine (although a bit short top tube length wise)

Probably a bit small for someone 6ft tall I think. All depends what he'd be using it for thought really.
