Damn Good price.

Quality not so important as long as Axle stands are used EVERY time.

If you can find any Lidl had some not long ago for £15. This price delivered is very good though.

Agree with previous poster, even expensive jacks can fail. Always use axle stands.

Unbelievable price when you consider how much these things weigh and the cost of courier prices - heat from me :)

It's hot.

Awful things. I'm a mechanic and these cheap and nasty ones will flex and twist as you are lifting your car, I've seen them collapse sideways before an axle stand has been popped into place.

The Clarke CTJ3000QL is probably the cheapest usable trolley jack, its £50, but its solid and wont let you down.

Just be careful people - only use something basic like this on dead flat ground, and never poke your head under a car without an axle stand in place. And for extra back-up, when you remove a wheel pop it under the sill - its a last resort safety measure.

But It is a good deal if you are feeling like taking a chance. Its not a long life bit of equipment, and I havent voted cold before someone shouts at me.

I use a 40 year old Epco trolley jack, the equivalent now would be £600 or so. But its never let me down, and will lift a LWB transit, fully loaded, if necessary.

Halfords have this 4x4 2.25 ton jack reduced to £34.99, which would probably be nore secure than the Silverline one.

I have this jack and it is great, but if you're a mechanic you'd know it won't fit underneath most modern 2wd cars. For this reason I had to buy another jack more like the one referred to here (from Halfords).

Many thanks for this - excellent price! Tried to add heat by clicking red up arrow, but it's greyed out.

Received mine today although I initially had an estimated delivery date in march some time :)

Seems decent for £15, the case is cracked and the optional plastic handle in flimsy but to lift the car onto my £10 halfords axle stands, it'll do just nicely.

Still on offer at £15.32 delivered.

Mine arrived in perfect condition, good size for carrying in the boot too, not too big. :)
