Okay so it's a cheap-and-cheerful make, but probably won't find a cheaper petrol chainsaw.
Too dangerous for me, but might be useful for someone!

42cc Petrol driven chainsaw. supplied with Carlton chain & Walbro carburettor. Features mechanical and inertia activated chain break. Bar length 455mm, max lutting length 450mm. Automatic oiling system. conforms to ES ISO11681- 1:2004.
Amazon seem to have a lot of Silverline tools at "Half-price", RRP price probably needs to be taken with a pinch of salt TBH.

The box was all cellotaped up, when I opened the box there was a stong smell of Oil & Petrol.
The Chainsaw had been repacked but not with the original packaging mine had some cardbord from some thing else.
After further inspection the Chainsaw was scracthed, & there was no Guard for the Chainsaw, looks as if it could be a refurbished model.
Have just spoken to Amazon & they are arranging a replacement, expected around the 3rd week of January :-(

Ditto mine too was all taped up, smell of oil & petrol but I assumed that was due to testing (air filter clean and machine not dirty).
Inside box packaged with old saucepan packaging; but I did have a guard fitted.
Also Silverline written on the blade is reversed and the machine is green not orange (yes it is the 45cc model).
Phoned Amason & got a 15% discount; however tomorrow will put the thing together to see if there are any other issues like does the Bl**dy thing start !!!
Didn't really want to have to do this til spring, well i hope it works as its got to be better than waiting seven weeks; & a good deal for £60 delivered; heres hoping.
