Image show the size, this could fit into a car..

Another review..
This spade/shovel is perfect for borders were space is limited, small light easy to handle, I love these types of spades and forks a must have tool, even put it in your boot of your car for winter, dig your self out. And for the price dirt cheap.

Good shovels had one when they were £2 odd months ago, shorter length so will fit in the boot, also ideal for her indoors to dig the garden, much lighter and shorter for her to work with ;-)
Also they are nice strong showels

Ordered. Great price. Should look good hanging up in the garage :)

No need to hang it up, they are so small it'll fit in the kitchen drawer!

Good for the boot though for snow based emergencies, it stashes very neatly in my car and I feel better knowing it's there at the moment. £3.71 is a bargain for the peace of mind alone plus it might come in handy for the garden come the summer

It's 50cm long. Are you married to a pygmy? :p

I'm gonna order one for my next beach holiday for digging a hole with the nephews :)

anyone know how effective these will be with snow :D

Already submitted this deal about a week ago but I got a message stating that it was a duplicate post, when it actually wasn't. The one posted before by someone else was a 'squared nose' shovel and I had then posted the one for a 'round nose' shovel, but this was not accepted.. weird. Well I ordered mine when it was heavy snow everywhere, although when ordering it states several weeks but I got mine after about a week. Good product, sturdy enough.

Bought my kids one each for the Summer - whilst other kids were snapping their £1.99 plastic tat on the beach these were doing a great job. Just ordered one for me - fed up of using my hands to dig while my boys are digging to Australia.

Ironic- you wont be the shovel because theres too much snow
#25
Square mouth shovel is so much better than this type in the snow, it's just common sense isnt it? This is going to be feck all use.
#26
I ordered the square one at this price but got an email cancelling it a day later.

voted hot, ideal for shovelling off all the sh..i..te that appears on hukd such as 1p off the price of a first class stamp and other such drivel. Can anyone send me an application form to become a MOD on this site, that really would be a hot deal, I could ban all such nonsense posts myself then!

I think the 'square nose shovel' people are missing the point here. This isn't a full size shovel for clearing snow from paths, etc, It's used in the Garden for digging in confined spaces. It is however, also useful for moving snow from around car wheels too and is small enough to fit in the boot of any car. I've ordered one (the square nose one having vamooshed), as for less than £4 you can't really go wrong can you.

One more thing, look at the design of the AA emegency snow shovel, or any folding snow shovel......round points on all of them

Not very! Clearly they don't want to call a spade a spade, cos it don't look like a shovel!
You ideally want a shovel with a broad flat end for shifting surface snow and scraping, with a relatively long handle.

This is also only 50cm long as mentioned - if it's a very solid build you might use it to hack away at ice close up? But it looks more like an entrenching tool to dig holes in the garden.

Will need a shovel to dig a path for the delivery man to deliver this shovel! AAAHHH PARADOX!!!!!!!!
#31
Well i ordered one for the car boot for the snow and the wife wants it for the garden in the summer..

Bargain sorted, thanx OP...:-)

is this shovel any good? how long do you think it would take to dig a hole in the garden to bury the mother in law on xmas day in the current weather conditions? she's a short wee fat woman, but has a mouth the size of the channel tunnel, so will inevitably lead me to strangling her mid xmas lunch when she moans about something that's not to her 100% satisfaction
