Measuring only 7 inches from nose to tail, and weighing just 12 grams, The PicooZ Atlas fits into the palm of your hand and can lift vertically, hover or strafe left and right without fuss or nonsense. With its lightweight, flexible foam body the PicooZ Atlas houses a high-grade rechargeable lithium battery and a minute propeller motor that enable it to fly around for approximately 10 minutes from a single charge. The Atlas is a 3 Channel helicopter which means the user has the ability to control flight altitude, forwards and backwards movement and the direction of flight. The auto stability system incorporated into the mechanics make it easy to operate indoors and even outdoors in calm conditions. Charging the Atlas is simple. Connect the helicopter to the hand held remote control unit and wait for the charging indicator to signify the on board battery is being charged. Due to its size and weight the Atlas is most suited to indoor flight but will operate outdoors in still conditions.

Are these like the ones you see in shopping centres for around £15?
#4

They can be quite tricky to handle. Maybe a bit too much for a five year old, but at a tenner it will be worth the look on his face when he flies it up into the roof like my borther-in-law did on the first attempt. They are good fun and fairly robust

Used to fly 4ch heli's, but this may just be fun to faff about indoors with  ordered mine!

I have one of these and its a great little machine. The ones you see in the shops for £15-£20 normally are only 2 channel, so with this one being 3, then this is a great deal.
#12
Good price. I bought my grandchildren another make which is quite difficult to fly straight. I hear that these are better. Good find.

Yeah, with this one they will be able to fly straight into your nose / hair / drink / etc. without missing! :-D

Personally I'd get the tandem, this deal, the one you've posted.

In that order (tandem first obviously!)

I can thoroughly Recommend the Tandem... awsome piece of Kit and fantastic value at £15.90 @ Amazon...

That said I've just gone for this Atlas as its bound to be worth the £10 being 3 channel

H&R OP :)

Yeah look on youtube this chopper ain't as stable as the tandemz IMO!

What's the second reviewer on Amazon been upto with these?

"although this is the best toy(flies forward yes-and its fast) i've ever had i must admit that out of the 7 pieces i received only 1 works perfectly. i originally ordered 2 and since then kept sending them back for replacement. i really thank amazon for their service. free shipping back!

-fault on 4: keeps spinning left!
-fault on 2: not flying forward!

i only got one which perfectly works.

by the way i still got a faulty one lying however i am actually embarrassed to send it back for replacement. but i guess i'll have to.
oh yes, the legs of of all the helicopters werent straight.

i guess that the series i got had a serious manufacturing fault. or is it just me?

still, if your one works trust me you'll have so much fun with it. flies forward yes. only a few low price helicopters can do that on the market. all the 2 channels are boring!"
