FREE supersaver delivery - NOW ONLY £8.99 [Amibees]

Don't be fooled by the appearance of the PicooZ Insecta, it is not a super sized dragonfly or gigantic hornet - nor is it an extra terrestrial. The Insecta is a remote controlled helicopter designed for indoor aviation. A highly responsive mechanical marvel concealed in an ultra lightweight, bug-eyed insect exterior. The PicooZ Insecta has a shell, engineered to withstand bumps and crashes for those who lose their nerve mid flight. It's also light - and so won't cause any damage if crashed inside. The body conceals a high-grade rechargeable lithium battery and a minute propeller motor that enable it to fly around for approximately 10 minutes from a single charge. Charging the Insecta is simple. Connect the helicopter to the hand held remote control unit and wait for the charging indicator to signify the on board battery is being charged. Due to its size and weight the Insecta is most suited to indoor flight and is ideal for flying missions around the office or in the home. Joysticks on the remote enable control of altitude, direction and trimming making airborne navigation as simple as possible.

Go for the Picooz (non-insecta). IME the legs on the insecta just bend when it hits the ground making the body of the helicopter first point of contact...

This is a great deal, didn't occur to me the new delivery wotsit could make these cheaper :P

Be prepared to bodge up repairs though, as fun as they are for all of a few hours the design is flawed and the rotor started wobbling all over the place. Easily fixed with a plastic bead if you don't mind taking it apart :)

Lot's of good info here.

Great fun, but as said hard to master but once you do its happy days.

Get a bit carried away and you will easily damage the blades but replacements are cheap enough as mentioned. Good price for one :)
#22
There are different coloured insecta ones. Can you order the different colours?
#23
Methinks I can hear the sound of breaking ornaments and Billy Connolly singing "D-I-V-O-R-C-E"! :whistling:
#24
can you pitch forwards or turn? i bought a chopper from ebuyer, was gutted it only went up and down!! If so im getting one! hot!

no you cant these are very basic helis that move up and down and if your lucky dont just spin , you can get forward movement by putting a little extra weight on the nose.
