Amazing, cold already and no reasons why! ;-)

No reason to be cold from me, HOT

Usually around this price, have seen it this price at play I think.

Personally I'd go with something more substantial like the chinook they sell.
#4
sorry cold for me bought a similar one for less here, have a look

Yes, but not a fair comparison. Shouldn't the voting be for the actual item listed and its price, not that you can find a cheaper one which is similar? ;-)

The 'similar' ones are mostly absolutely awful and should be avoided - I know, I've had some :-(

Hot deal for the genuine article.

Do not buy this. I bought it twice and both were rubbish. All in the bin now.

MY SON got one for his birthday , but i cannot get it to fly. any advice. ive put new batteries in, but it aint flying

Picoz heli's are fantastic I got two last Christmas one was sat on accidentally and the rotors got chipped on the second so I transferred the spare rotors from the first and one of them is still working flawlessly to this day!

BUT, these things eat batteries and unless fresh you are not going to get the performance out of them even after only a handful of flights I made a mod so I could plug in an power adapter so if you can solder then this makes a big difference!

Now, the 3 channel version and Chinook are on this years wish list :)

What are the regulations on voting? I believe several members have been blocked or banned for voting cold without an explanation, If this the case why do we have to explain cold votes but not hot? the way I do it is when I come across a good deal I may feel like voting hot if I see what I think is a poor deal I might vote cold...Is this wrong? "I have not voted on this item"

Yup took mine back after 2 days. Its amazing what you get for the money but a simple design flaw in the rotor shaft surround lets it down. Mine kept clipping the surrounding area (polystyrene) until finally the shaft wobbled so much it was too unstable and lost power. There is an easy fix for this using a plastic bead but I couldn't be bothered (and had paid £25!) so it went back.

Good price though if you don't mind modifying it :)

Cold, these have been this price or cheaper for ages. Although for all you ppl who smash the rotar up you can purchase 5 for I think £1-£2 on deal extreme easy to fit and work better than the original one.
#18
Personally speaking......dont waste your money.
#19
Hot from Danny boy.

Only 2 channel, so no controlling it to go forward / back wards. Although they do obviously go forwards but this is due to physics not the controls

Only up/down and left/right turning from the remote

Will need a 3 channel if you want to control forward/backward

IIRC the Chinook is £25 on Amazon (or was last I checked) quite a lot cheaper over the RRP.
Guy in work bought one same day as my picooz and his still works great. Quite a cool little thing :D

have you charged the helicopter?

There is usually a little lead from the controller batter pack that plugs into the helicopter and charges from the remote batteries

I suspect all the people who are having problems have got fakes or other brands not original Picoz. The company had to recently take a rival to court for copying their design!
